hilarious. my old athlon 5000+ will still be faster than the stupid quad core. just due to frequency. 1-1.5 ghz are bad for gaming. just like a server cpu, amd opteron has 16 cores and does not perform any better than a phenom 955. and the rest of the people kissing ass to apple.

about the retina display.... NO RETINA DISPLAY, yet right now the quad core a6 and their unknown gfx can easily supper an HD display maybe from the 768 or what ever to 1080 but remember whenever you update the screen you need to have the extra graphical and processing power to cope there's kind of a magic ratio for it to perform nicely but other than the retina I think the others seem pretty factual :P

If the ipad 3 gets this crazy resolution it gets even more rediculous... Also same space but double battery life with the same battery technology ->not possible. Logically for doubling the battery life, the battery needs to be double the size.

Only other possibility is something like the Tegra3 chip which as a very low clock & low consumption "companion core" that kicks in as soon as you dont make demanding stuff.

I won't be surprised if they made an iPad 2S. The second iPhone to the third wasn't a huge evolution, so I'm not very sure they'll make iPad 3. But I won't even mind. I want 5 mp 1080p hd camera and LED flash, retina display, and an A6 processor chip. Also a new software update. I wouldn't mind siri, but then again, that was the main spotlight for iPhone 4S.
