when adam told blake where alexis had been....the look on his face was priceless.....he looked like in his mind he was sayin.."will that bitch ever quit!!!"
It would have been funny to see Alexis with a black eye or fat lip. You know those women in jail wouldn't take her comments the way the rest of the women on the show did ;)
That is some baaaaad acting from Joan Collins when she learns of Fallon's death. Of course, she wasn't given any dialogue to work with so I'm not sure what she was supposed to do.
@pac12345678 It's funny because this scene makes a comparable one on Dallas a year earlier look like an Oscar-winning performance. When Lucy Ewing (Charlene Tilton) found out her fiance Mickey was dead (supposedly at the hands of her uncle/ex-lover Ray Krebbs), she attacked Ray in a similar fashion to Alexis in this scene. Lucy/Tilton runs at Ray, screaming "how could you kil him, you had no right" while hitting him about the chest & crying hysterically. Must be bad to make Lucy look like Meryl.
It's always nice to see the maternal side of Alexis but Joan Collins is not the kind of actress to do a dramatic scene well. She and Susan Lucci are both terrible at scenes like that
You know, at least she had a brain under that wig, unlike you. the guards would have to take the top of your head off shake it out to make sure nothing was stashed in that empty chamber. Now go back to your Space Invaders, no pun intended.
some of the most powerfull moments on the show were between blake/alexis when it came to their children. i thought the moment in the jail house was very sad and fallon's (PSM) death was definately a sad moment for the show. it was totally cheapened by the "return" of Fallon II (Emma Samms).
@MercuryX - I totally agree....most of the best scenes on this show were between Alexis and Blake when they were dealing with something about one of their children; whether they were arguing or comforting one another, Alexis and Blake's scenes were just powerful. Joan Collins and John Forsythe had great chemistry and that showed in their scenes together. Great stuff!
@LuvThatKatherine i came back to watch this just because you responded to my comment and i agree with you as well:) i really must thank smck2009 again for posting the complete collection of dynasty epi's on yt for us to enjoy!
i love joan collins but i dont think she's that great an actress.... this was hardly the most difficult role and her performance here wasn't exactly brilliant... i know all the alexis lovers will hate this but i do love her too it just had to be said lol
Joan Collin won an Emmy for her work on this season of Dynasty ..... I'm sure ,particularly for this difficult scene, where her inner torment bursts with full force in tears against Blake .... Bravo .brilliant acting, and deeply emotional,,, she made me cry too.
This was the first time I ever really felt sorry for Jeff. He was finally secure and justified in his belief that Fallon loved him and that they were together on merit. And to have this happen, in this way, is heartbreaking. Blake's badgering was unnecessary and somewhat insensitive, though I see where he was coming from.
i can't believe pamela sue martin is gone, i mean, she was damn good in this show. i love emma samms, but PSM is ALWAYS going to be the best fallon ever.
Alexis looks so much younger with her own hair!

I see Alexis' 'Jail hair' is more real. The guards must have suspected smugglings in her wig, and confiscated it!

I still think of how much better Al Corley would have been if he had stayed on as Steven.

Agreed... I was just wondering to myself how the original Steven would have handled this scene.

@jakesault Definitely. JC was not a good actor.

That was an excellent performance from Joan Collins when her character Alexis found out Fallon had died

to me this was joan's best performance when she found out fallon died

Man! This was a powerful episode.
Damn! I actually felt bad for Alexis in this.
Joan Collins really dug into her role to bring out aspects of the character that were subtle and could easily be overlooked with all the malice.
The director did an excellent job on this one.

I completely agree! Joan Collins is an extremely talented actress!!!
