Latoya said bad things about Michael and his family forced by her husband. But she has always been very close to MJ in the 70s and 80s. As for who he was closet to. I believe he was closet to Jermaine and Janet. Jermaine and him had the same sense of humor and they liked to play pranks on people. With Janet he has said time and time again that they thought so much alike and so many times they would think of something at the same time. So I think creatively they were the closets. But he loved all of his siblings. So it really does not matter.

erm no. maybe in the early 70's he was close to Jermaine, but all people who have spoke about them who knew them as adults have always said Jermaine and Michael fought horribly. Mainly due to Jermaines unwarranted ego

Michael grew up being closer to Latoya. When he was 14, Janet was 5. He did not confide his problem to a little girl of 5 years. Latoya said bad things about Michael and his family forced by her husband. But she has always been very close to MJ in the 70s and 80s. Michael later said to be close to Janet because they were angry with their big sister. But in the 70s, he said in his interviews to be close to Latoya.

In his book Moonwalk Michael lists him and his siblings from the oldest to the youngest. Maureen also known as Rebbie was first then came Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Latoya, Marlon, then Michael, Randy and Janet last.
Look it up it is in his book Moonwalk I have it in my lap right now. It is on page 8.

@xenaslave69 i love that book . i have read it over and over. michael had me laughing and smiling at some of his adventures in his autobiography. like his first time seeing a drag queen when he was a little boy at that club they had to perform.

In my opinion MJ loved all his sister & brothers equally, but we can say that he grew up a little closer to Janet. She did say that she was happy for him but if he couldn't be up there she wanted to be. As adults, it was imposible to be together because they both had their careers but w Latoya,..mmm,, she disappointed me in betraying MJ so many times. Threaten or not, she accused MJ on TV about abusing Chandler. Imagine what MJ felt when he saw that & even forgave her for that... RIP my love

I kinda believe her ex husband forced her to say it, from what I heard her ex husband threatened to kill her and her family if she didn't make that Speech. Latoya was acting very weird doing strange things when she was married to that asshole !!!

Michael was much closer than Latoya than Janet. In the 70s and 80s, they were always together and seemed accomplice. Janet prefer trainer with his wicked friends including James Debarge the addict. Janet has always been jealous of MJ. She even admitted it in interviews. Latoya really had the sad death of his brother. I love Janet but I really think that Michael has always been closer to his brothers as a kid and Latoya teenagers and adult until in 1989.

janet has always supported michael in everything that he has done and if he ever needed support or help with anything she'd go out of her way to help him.
for example ;
she dueted with him on the song 'scream'.
she gave him his lifetime achievment award.
she has done backing vocals for loads of his songs.
she has stuck up for him when he has been wrongly accused.
what more do you want from her?

maybe it has to do with the fact that you wasnt even born to see the relationship that he has with Janet she was very supportive of him. Your a huge MJ Fan? then you should know that Mike said that out of his family, Janet was his bestfriend in his book. when he was falsely accused, Dunk whom he affectionately called her, took a helicopter from where she was at so that she can be by her brother's side, Mike told her in front of the world when he see's her, he see's himself, circa 1986 AMA's.

I dont argue that janet doesnt love michael or michael janet!! I know that he loved her much,almost in every interview he mentioned janet and how he loves her!! but i cant see this love from janet, she prefered to say nothing about him. in some interviews she questioned when she saw him last, and everytime she said for 2 years ago, no phone contact,(she said that)!!!! its a pity!I dont want to annoy nobody but thats my opinion!!!

I fully agree with you, I know that Michael liked immensely the whole family, but I this love of family do not see it, even in Janet, I know it goes against the current, but hey, if my brother is going through difficult times, pick up the phone to greet him, I do not think too much, I do not think it is a nuisance. Maybe because I do not see this sorrow in their faces, a tear. I seem to read the hearts of fans much pain. Sorry for my english

Janet and Family also said at times MJ was impossible to reach and cut off people when he was going through is own issues! ..It's clear you've only seen a couple JJ interviews..she only said that back when she was depressed in 1997..and in 06 she said MJ left after the trails so it seems you don't know what you're talking about! But It's ok Janet don't need your opinions and neither do we MJ/JJ fans who followed them both over the years! Do your research before you type and spread false info.
