I find this impossible to believe. Not only does the Colossus regains HP, but the more damage it has taken, the faster it regains HP. I don't see how it's possible to outweigh his regeneration at lower HP values.

Not only that, but this video clearly demonstrates that even if you DID manage to damage him, it doesn't even die. His death is a script effect from burning the rope. Not from the axes.

Of course, the manly way to do it would be to remove all "min. health" blocks and the damage reduction on you, and just OUT-MAN his regeneration (from a high place, of course). I was able to get it down to about 9/10s without cheating.
