She campaigned furiously because she had to. She was being fashioned to be the obvious choice for the nomination - I mainly blame the democratic party for that as they have a history of the all eggs in one basket approach. For a good while she was pretty much the sole contender and didn't have to exert a great deal of energy. But when Obama stepped onto the court, she most definitely had to step up her game.

You all just don't get it. This pastor has absolutely nothing to do with Senator Barack Obama. Nothing. He's just some white pastor preaching at a predominantly black church in Chicago that Obama just happens to be a member of. Sen. Obama cannot be responsible for everything everybody says that stands behind that pulpit. That church has become a platform for anyone to speak who wants to thrust themselves into the national spotlight.

Not every white american has ancestors who were involved in slavery. Many came from Europe AFTER it happened. Obama probably has more ancestors who were involved than most whites, he IS half white afterall.

More specifically Apple, only rich whites had slaves. That's a tiny minority of white folk who owned slaves. Blacks also conveniently forget, or don't even know, that many whites helped to liberate the slaves. If it wasn't for these whites, slavery would have continued indefinitely.
