These graphic are arguably comparable to Gears of War 2, but the difference is that Gears shows the 360 near its maximum graphic capability, while this game shows just the tip of the iceberg of the PS3's potential. Three years down the line you'll have 360 games that look like gears 2 and PS3 games that look FAR better Killzone 2.

Just looking at gameplay footage of this game, many things stand out to me

1- the AI looks intelligent, having bots in Online Deathmatch will be fun as hell

2- the graphics look like Crysis, and the weapon animations are very realistic, and very well done

3- the cover system is better than I expected, and once again, the animations for everything are beautiful

4- the lighting is incredibly realistic

I've noticed if it weren't for god mode that the guy playing would have died which means the AI is quite smart or clever and are set to to be even better when finished!

i enjoyed halo 3 but halo 2 and 3 never met my expectations.

i hope killzone 2 will meet my expectations as what i can see it looks kickass

good luck, that the PS3 will be much cheaper in 2009 when Killzone 2 is released.

From all I've seen up to now, it must be really better than Killzone 1.

There's only one thing that gets me. How is it smooth enough when it runs at 30fps. I mean, I'm still impressed. I wonder what it would look like it it were more than 30. I can say that is has a good chance at becoming game of the year.

Maybe they will give the God mode cheat after you defeated the whole game once. But i'm rarely starting to see cheats for next gen games. One game that will always have cheats is grand theft auto. But killzone 2 having cheats would be nice. I mean you can just explore and just go up next to the hellghasts and watch the blood splatter all over your face.

Yeah... but its kinda sad how dissapointing halo 3 looks in comparison, halo is a good game, but they toned down the graphics so much that the only thing that looks good is the explosions and master cheif's visor
