  • Awesome. Paul McCartney and the Stones did great versions too...

  • This has, since I first heard it in the late '50s, always been one of the greatest sounds ever. I must have heard it a 1000 times and never get tired of it.

  • mmmmmmmmmmmmmmaravilha

  • im Bo-oggying

  • cant believe someone would dislike this, so peaceful

  • First heard this song when it came out 50 years ago and I never get tired of listening to it. His best hit.

  • Hey i am a white boy and even i know Rock n Roll came to be through our black brothers superior music, Peace to all mankind and God bless us all.

  • One Person Must Be Crackin Up With A Thumbs Down.

  • I just listened to Say Man,, and comparing the hits I'd have to say I like this number better, but not enough to want to hear it again. Bo Diddley reminds me of the Inkspots, in that I don't get off on alot of rythmn and blues anymore than I get off on jazz. Bo wasn't played much or at all for the most part and what did land on the charts bombed out at the bottom of the top 40 charts back in the Doowop era. ROCKABILLY wasn't played here in Vancouver Cda either & I really like it! THX

  • craaaaacking up abagaheu abagaheu!!!!!! %-)

  • Sounds like Bo doing Buddy doing Bo ...

  • For a long time, when I was a kid,I thought he said "You back it up". It hinted at accusations, and gave the song a slightly different slant for me.

Can someone provide me with the lyrics to this song? Please.

  • hmm. Black Rock and Roll?

  • @jahsonsalim the roots of rock and roll stem from the black musicians. all inspiration came from the black musicians...

  • He is surely suggesting here that whereas teaching Buddy Holly all he knew,

    Bo could do it better

  • *****
