  • thank you for the informative video,my glock was broken and it needs 3 spareparts its good that glock parts are available in our country and i was scouting on how to dissasemble and assemble its good that i come across to your very clear instructions thank you and it really help me..

  • @tauros1956 That's pretty cool! Glad to hear there's someone working on a Glock way over there in the Philippines using the video I made on my basement reloading bench.

Hope everything goes well, feel free to PM if you have any questions or concerns.

  • wow never saw a glock disassembly/reassembly like that before great detail so i guess if you break something get another part and your back in business one thing i wonder about is what if one of the 4 metal tabs on the frame snaps off guess your sunk then but i guess there strong for the most part with normal use thanks again..

  • @yohanson001 They are very strong but in the case of a catastrophic failure like the example you mentioned Glock would most assuredly cover that.

  • otimo video,de uma qualidade inestimavel abs.

  • @1190100 Obrigado pelo elogio, meu amigo.

  • This was great!!! I own a 17 and a 26. Generally I just field strip and clean with clp and oil the slide with a little bolt grease. I have never broken it down to its basic parts before and am a little intimidated by it. Any suggestions? Again great video!!

  • @EnduringEagle Just proceed slowly and use this video or my "Know Your Glock" video as a reference and pause it after each step. Follow the sequence one part at a time and you will be really good at this after about two times. You don't have to go all the way, either. If you want, you can leave the firing pin assembly together and save yourself the worry of possibly losing a tiny firing pin spring cup.

You will see your Glocks differently after this, creates a greater appreciation. Thanks!

  • @theKGB65 Thanks. i will try it next weekend (This weekend is a Kayak trip).. I have added them to my favorites and have sub'd to your channel. BTW. On the first video (Get your Glock Factory Clean) that proceedure will work only if completely disassembled?

  • @EnduringEagle Enjoy your action / adventure weekend, sounds very cool.

Yes, the Glocks have to be completely disassembled for the cleaning method in that "Factory Clean" video. You'll want all the parts to be well rinsed and dry before reassembly.

  • Still the best video on the web for Glock disassembly/re-assembly. good tips and clear pictures. A great resource and teaching tool THANK YOU!

  • @OldPackMule Glad if it helps, I occasionally watch these myself when I get a little rusty at it. Thanks so much for watching and for being such a great supporter of my channel!

  • I learned a lot from your video...thank you so much for taking the time to educate. It's appreciated!

  • @zulucowboy Glad it helped out, nice of you to comment. Thanks.

  • Great video. Thanks for taking the time to make and post it.

  • @nvpliers Thank you. Glad to see people are still watching this.

  • I have used your video many times to guide me. I had a Gen 3 G19. Sold it and got a Gen 4 G23. Anything new about the Gen 4's that your video doesn't cover? I agree with a lot of other people that your two part videos are the best I have seen on completely taking apart a Glock. Thanks for doing such a fine job.

  • @mjes51 Glad you took the time to give me the positive comment and am happy to hear that you found this video useful. Unfortunately, as much as I love Glocks I've never even touched a Gen4. The difference from the original versions that would seem to stand out is the magazine catch and spring assembly.

  • Thank you for this video! I was having a problem with my Gen4 G26 and I couldn't figure out what was going on. It would not go fully into battery with the trigger pulled back in the fire position. I noticed unusual wear on the trigger bar, and after watching your video, I decided to check the firing pin safety spring, and found it sideways in the slide. After re-inserting it into the firing pin safety the gun works perfectly!

  • @jkunz27 Really glad you mentioned that here. It happened to me once, exactly the same way. Using the Glock Factory Armorer's technique of rotating that tiny spring counter-clockwise while gently pushing in until it clicks into the firing pin safety will eliminate this from happening again. That can really shake a guy up when things aren't put together quite right. Thanks for posting your good comment.

  • Great video! Keep up the good work!

  • @longbeardjr Glad you like it. Making a video like this really reinforces the process and gets the names of all the parts burned into memory. Doing these videos also solidified my love for this incredibly efficient firearm design. Hope watching this has that effect on other people, too.

  • My complements on your Glock disassembly and reassembly they are hands down the best on youtube.

  • @rgainer100 That's great to hear, thank you for the feedback.

  • Great video! Thanks alot for putting this together, it was very helpful.

  • @sfa500 Glad to hear that, thanks for the comment.

  • Excellent video!! The best in all web so far...thank you

  • best disassembly video. keep up the good work.

  • @donthebodyguard Okay, I'll do that, thank you.

  • I had purchased a video which showed how to totally disassemble and reassemble the Glock pistol probably ten years ago. It did give me the confidence to do it myself and you certainly are correct about how increasing your knowledge also increases you enjoyment of ownership and confidence. I have to say that your video is much better. Much more detail and much better camera work. Excellent job. Thank you, very much.

  • @LarryC213 That is the best compliment that anyone has ever given me for any of my videos. Thank you, and I'm glad to hear that you found it useful and that you agree with my opinion on Glock appreciation. Happy shooting, and good luck trying to wear out your Glock!

  • @theKGB65, I do apologize for it taking me this long to check my Youtube messages. You are quite welcome. I meant every word of it. Thank you and good luck to you, too.

  • Thank you for posting this. Using just your video, I completely disassembled and cleaned my Glock 19, as well as install a 3.5 pound trigger. Now my Glock is spotless and the trigger pull is sweeter than ever. Thanks again man! -Rob

  • @QuicDra That is good news to me because that was my motivation for making this video, getting other people to enjoy this aspect of the Glock. When I learned the proper methods from the Glock Armorer's Manual it took me to a whole new level of appreciation for this incredible firearm. Thanks for letting me know.

  • @theKGB65 Exactly. I love owning a Glock...don't get me wrong, I enjoy shooting many other firearms but when it comes down to it, and if I had to bet my life on it functioning properly, give me a Glock haha Thanks again. -Rob

  • these are very informative videos. I would still be scared to take mine apart because i have a history of screwing alot of things up. But with videos like these telling how to do it i should be ok. Thanks for these videos. They are alot of help and free.

  • @iwillylicker54i If you had enough interest to watch both of these videos then you would do just fine performing a total disassembly. The only parts that you have to really be careful with are the springs, because stressing them with tools can weaken them, and making sure the notch on the slide stop (the part that most videos incorrectly call the "take down levers") is facing rearward, toward the barrel lug. You could even use these videos as a guide, just keep pausing as you go.

  • Good video. I just got my first Glock, though, so it might be awhile before I have the balls to actually try all this.

  • @spiff2268 Congratulations on your new Glock. When I get a new one I like to leave it alone for a while too. A new Glock is a precious thing but when it gets full of dust, lint, gun powder ash, mud, etc... then I hope you can use this video as a step-by-step reference to get it back in order. You might like to see my "Glock Factory Clean" video, also. Thank you.

  • Awesome! Thanks man.

  • Parts 1 & 2 are great videos. Very straight forward and detailed. Audio and video are both very clear, detailed and understandable. Gave me more understanding and higher comfort level with my glocks! I really appreciate your time to make the vids and your willingness to share your knowledge with others. Glocks Rock!!!

  • @TheScooterWizard Getting feedback like this is the reason I posted this video, well, that, and if forced me to learn all the names of parts and the proper sequence for doing this. Knowing a firearm intimately makes the ownership of the thing many times more enjoyable, especially when you discover what a genius design it is.

  • EXCELLENT WORK!!!!!!!! Thanks for it!

  • Parts 1 and 2 are by far the best Glock tear down vids I've seen on You Tube

  • @Farpoints Your supportive feedback is greatly appreciated.

  • Excellent Video, THANK YOU.

  • @edwinley24 Glad you liked it. Wish I could be in the Dominican Republic on vacation! Must be nice to live there.

  • Excellent video man!!! owner of two Glocks and had trouble with the whole re- and disassembly thing: You helped me see the light THANK YOU. Glock ON!!!!!

  • @Boogiethrash Great, glad this helped out. Thought Glocks were just like any other handgun before I studied the armorer's manual. Glock Steady!!!

  • I'd like to echo most of these comments, Best disassembly video I've seen. If you've never held a Glock before you could easily disassemble one using this video. Nice tutorial

  • @grizz474 Thanks for the feedback, makes it all worth the effort.

  • This is the best "how to do it" video I have ever seen on the net...

Congratulations and keep the good work up!

  • @bralexis I do appreciate that, I hope you get a chance to see a few of my other videos.

  • This was great!

  • Yep, best video yet, especially the slide catch hint...wish I'd seen this video before replacing my slide stop, would have saved me some cussin'. Really good stuff!

  • Saving it on your hard drive sounds like a good idea. There are several different ways to do that if you Google, "download youtube" and follow any of the search results. What might work even better as a quick reference is a download of the Glock Armorer's Manual as found on stevespages. -Thank you for watching.-

  • Thanks for the videos, I would love to be able to save them to my hard drive for future reference... LDG

  • excellent demo 5 stars, thanks for sharing this info. now i know how to detail strip my glock

  • Without a doubt the BEST Glock disassembly video on the web. Thank you very much. The quality of the video along with your knowledgable step by step instructions can not be matched.

  • this is a very helpful video; thank you.
