For a start the 6 east Northern counties in Ireland are not all mainly protestants_ Tyrone, Derry, Fermanagh all have nationalists majorities, armagh and Down are about 50/50 so it shows how ridiculous this situation really was!??

@phoenix1916 Yes and the those three counties you mentioned there were simply placed in as a buffer zone to ensure a reasonably viable statelet. The British government has so much too apologise for.

@dazpatreg Unionists politicains have consistently let down the working class loyalist people of the North, they filled them full of fire and brimestone and sent them out on sectarian killings only to condemn them, take a look at the current education system in the North it discriminates mostly against the working class prods, yet the unionists reps scream for it retention, its unbelievable!!
