  • Go Bette! Magnificent writing brought to life by a magnificent actress

  • Omg bette davis i love u!!! Brilliant!

  • Do not imagine this role played by another actress more than Bette, is perfect!

  • One of the greatest, most well-written, and most well-cast films EVER viewed by human eyes. Every conversation, every character, and every frame is so stunning. It's without a doubt one of the smartest pieces of cinema ever filmed.

  • Bette Davis' Role of Margo Channing was a very defining role in her career. She pkayed many memeorable characters, never worring about age, she wanted them to be memorable & they certainly were. She should've won for this role & for the role in BABY JANE. Which would have given her 4 Oscars by 1962. Bette was the greatest Dramatic Star & Judy Garland was the greatest singing Star & ACTRESS of all time. The only 2 A LIST actresses of their time to carry a full movie on their own by the late 40's

  • Yes, but no need to use the Lords name

  • "It's about time the piano realised it has not written the concerto!" <3 Touché...

  • Who's the guy she's talking to at the end?

  • @ghtjdjdhfjeosnvcurth

    Bill, her lover/the director

  • "Where is princess fire and music?" LOL!

  • Bette Davis was PERFECT for Margo.

Its really amazing to think she didn't win the Oscar for her performance.

Bette Davis is one of the greatest actresses....ever.

  • "Not until the last drugstore has sold its last pill."

    Wow - harsh!

  • One of my most favorite movie lines :)

  • Quite possibly the greatest scene in one of the greatest films of all time.

  • why does everyone have such foul mouths these days!!!!!!!!!! For God's sake...bette1908...you couldn't say ....she pulls off his toupee...had to add "f"..think how you sound..potty mouth...lol

  • She was a real movie movie star. Such a bold and large presence on screen, in a little tiny package of a woman. Sarcasm done to a tee. There's a scene in Hush, Hush at the dinner table too where Bette rattles of sarcasm splendidly, and the whole dialogue between all characters is like this, just bouncing off each other. Great writing, and delivery. Thanks.

  • I love anne baxter!!! as eve she is a bitch! but I love her!! ajjajaja

  • "what a pity all that fire and music being turned off"...."I'm Sure" Bette Davis has such great sarcastic delivery.

  • Great. And the part of Margo was written brilliantly. And the whole dialogue - magnificent!

  • yes

  • I love this film. Nobody throws a sarcastic quip like Bette Davis!

  • ilove betty!

  • I Dont Know If There Is Any Other 'All About Eve' Obsessive Fans Out There. I Am One And Could Tell You Recite It Word For Word. Sad But True. I Was Wondering If Anyone Understood The Part When Bill Is Shouting His Mouth Of At Eve, At The Beginning, When She Asks About His Moving To Hollywood? Ive Watched It So Many Times But Have No Idea What Hes Going On About. Anybody That Can Help Me?

  • @bethanys93 she's asking him if she's going to lose him to some Hollywood starlet/floozie. He's basically telling her that she's being immature. hence the lines "As of right now, you're three years old", because she's being a child.

  • Nunca me canso de ver esta grandísima película que me hizo descubrir a la divina Bette. Viva Bette Davis!!!

  • Bette Davis RULES! I just HATE Eve, that double-dealing bitch!

  • 'Not mouse, never mouse. If anything....Rat!'

    Hahaha I love Bette Davis.

I love the way she acts...

  • I like your video clip and have rated it as awesome. Please view my clip of some rare 1930's movie star cards, including Bette Davis, Clark Gable, Mae West, Will rogers, Carole Lombard and many more

  • I love this scene. I want to slap Eve, I can't stand her unmoving eyes and overly breathy voice. BLAH, LONG LIVE MARGO!

  • The divine Margot Channings played by the sublime Bette Davies ;)all this fire and music and wellwell

  • The more I watch this, the more I love this scene. I always laugh when he says "Ah, Margo darling" and then she makes her coat hit his face. lol

  • lol.....look closer...she pulls off his fucking toupee....LOVE IT!!! ;)

  • What an actress!!!

  • All playwrights should be dead for three-hundred years! One of my favorite bitch-out scenes!

  • My all-time favorite was in The Women.

"There's a word for you ladies, but it's not used in polite society. Outside of a kennel."

    Damn!

  • Thanks for the Spanish language version!
