These guys put on a free show at the Mercury Lounge in Tulsa, OK. It was 3 hours of awsomeness. I went out the next day, quit my job, and joined a rock-a-billy band.
My family was visiting San Antonio during Fiesta in 2003 and Two Tons of Steel was playing at one of the events. Hanging out for a week during Fiesta was a lot of fun, but watching Two Tons of Steel play a set is what I remember most. They were great - what sound they have! The twangy guitar mentioned earlier, the steel guitar, the stand-up base, the drums, all that talent and a great stage presence made for a memorable afternoon.
