Actully, vedas dont talk about shiva at all. and no where vedas talk about Ayyappa. All these stupid stories were added in between by sages and other men. Go and read vedas and see how pure they are. they speak of on eternal formless God. He has many names (brahma, vishnu, rudra etc) but he is one. Na tasya pratima asti- he has no form. and he is one. thats what vedas talk about. God having sex and families is something which is other than vedic religion of truth.

Character of Rudra (as described in vedas was similar to contemporary south indian God shiva (shiva was God of ravana) so the sages of olden days thought that Shiva is rudra) But no where in vedas, the name shiva is mentioned anywhere. because people dont know the truth (vedas) they talk nonsense and they live like dogs and pigs.

Yes he is running a business, problem is you are claiming he is living for nation which is not true. His business is for profit. As a yogi he just needs two time food and not the luxury things.
