  • We have used the machine for the last 4 years and it has been the best investment we have made it saves us a person. We apply digital prints up to 4'x8' in less that 5 minutes, no bubbles, we apply cut vinyl as well as lamination using only a piece of laminate cut to the required size.(very little waste). The difference is pulling a flat substrate through the laminator vs pulling the laminator over the substrate. A couple of $20k printers plus laminator cost vs $80k direct printer = good offset.

  • I cannot see how this thing would ever be a valid piece of equipment. You can do this same action very effectively with a mounting/ film laminator. We mount adhesive backed vinyl prints (same as in this video) on virtually every flat substrate that will fit through our 62" seal laminator. Also, why not invest in a direct to board printer if you were going to eat up this much money (looks expensive!) & sq footage w/ one machine?
