kyo is really connected to his music, you dont see many lives like this. Most bands nowadays are so concerned about how they appear in the camera with their "oh howz my hair" attitude. It's kind of weird saying that and yet diru started as a Visual Kei band, which was all about image. However I get what you're saying and I'm so glad the past 6 or so years they have distanced themselves from VK and to just being a kick ass band.

A few of you obviously haven't been to a Diru concert. Kyo gets so caught up in the energy he forgets that he has his limits. He's tired, it's in the middle of the concert, and you people are expecting album quality vocals? Kyo sounds AMAZING right here. I've literally heard him gasp and half talk through ending performances!

As much as you want to tell him to take a rest [cuz we all know we'd wait endlessly for Kyo] he still continues on FOR HIS FANS.

I'll completely back GacktDoll on this. He really goes over the top for the fans, and sings his heart out, so its understandable that he's a bit tired... As for them "sucking live," Dir en Grey is one of THE best live shows I've seen, quality, energy, and anything else, and we weren't even a major stop on their tour here in the US a few years back, so don't bash them, especially because you clearly haven't been to one...

I saw them last November in Houston. If he'd performed like this, I would have been really disappointed. But he didn't. He actually was incredible. It was definitely a good show...not one of the top 5 I've been to, but it was good.
