  • i totally agre im an engineer/producer out here in New Orleans , and i got into Studio One because my computer crashed that had protools and i was looking for a DAW that wouldn't crash , and it was the one , IT has not let me down , when i figured out that i could change the tempo on audio tracks , i went absolutely crazy in the studio . Studio One is the future of Music making and production .

  • @moranast Thanks moranast! To the future!!

  • The best tool is the tool that works for you! Studio One is a pretty cool DAW but Teddy Riley's sheer aptitude of creativity and know-how is the secret here, not the DAW. Studio One simply works for his workflow and his needs and that's awesome! However, the tools pale in comparison to the person's abilities. That said, nobody cares what DAW you use if it sucks. Just saying.

  • Studio one is the best..:.........

  • I love the presonus 1 but please tell me how to autopan or pan notes i noticed its not a feature on this program....

  • @DEVDTV Hey man! That will be done via automation. Click your pan control, and then click the "A" icon (located right below the "File" menu) to create a pan automation track! From there, you can draw the pan automation across your track. Check our knowledgebase for more info!

  • Ive had this software and didn't even give it a chance .just searched for teddy Riley videos and found this and when he said the name of the software I was like no fuckin way. ! I'm runnin around lookin for the disc so I can try it out.

  • @rowin09 Hey Rowin, no sweat! You don't even need the disc, just download the 3-0-day trial of our software from the Studio One Website. Thanks man!

  • Hello, my name is Joe-L. "Da Vessel." I am a gospel rap artist but I go by Dj BeenChozen as a producer. I started out w/an SP1200, then and MPC2000; I then swtiched to a simple usb/midi keyboard and Abelton Live7 to record. I had a problem w/the program that I won't specify and decided to try StudioOne Artist (as recommended by my drummer) in the meantime while waiting to get Abelton working again....never looked back!!! I do mainly hip-hop production & trust me, StudioOne Artist is a MONSTER!

  • @JoeLDaVessel Thanks man! We are always glad to hear supportive comments from our users, keep it up!

  • i love one studio one i tell all my friend forget about pro tool it sucks studio one is the Future all it need to have is a audio to midi vst and it over BY Keith walker

  • @IKUH2009 Thanks bud!

  • Listen people. I just bought this software. When he says "Straight drag drop, right click". THat is why I went for it. You will NOT find an easier software. Totally effortless. I spent 2 days with the demo and i just was like . . holy crap. This is THE future of DAW. Only Ableton Live comes close to the ease of use. I see the future being Studio One for rock/pop etc, and Ableton for dance/electronic. Studio one is going to blindside the majors.

  • @KCJacksonMuz Thanks bud! We're glad to have you in our corner!

  • Your right, but it just irritates me no end. Im sure he's a great producer, but.. if your going to represent, you should do so professionally, again, just my opinion.

  • @vStylerJohnG I feel you but you see, professional or not, we all have our flaws... English flaws. We all let out a word that's pronounced or spell the wrong way, at least most of us who are not English teachers and Librarians. Case in point, you mistakenly write "Your" for "You're". You also write "Im" which should be in proper writing: I'm. You also left out the "to" in "irritates me no end". After "professionally" it's a period not a comma. Still, I'd not judge you just on these mistakes.

  • Everyone LoveS... not Everyone love.

    PLEASE learn English.

  • @vStylerJohnG "Teddy knows his DAWs" since the late 80's, that's what matters most; It shows his dedication and knowledge in the biz. Picking one little "S" missing from a word out of the entire clip to expose can't hurt Teddy. The last thing I'd want to judge Teddy or any great producer is them leaving out an "S". The focus here is what the man knows, his weight and more importantly, can he sells me this software. I'd say, even with an "S" missing, the guy can speak English and knows his craft

  • @vStylerJohnG Are you fucking retarded or something? Do you just read english books all day? Get out and work with people once in a while

  • @vStylerJohnG it must be hard living in your world

  • I LOVE S1 pro!!!!.... GREAT DAW!:....

  • It is so well said and all that but studio one crashes when you use vsts. Don't believe all of this shit it does not produce the results when it crashes

  • @Archie54able Well, have you tryid to use some vst´s that aint cracked :) ?

  • @Archie54able not everybody is going to experience the same thing as you. from what i know the bit rate with the vsts have to be in unison with s1

  • not going to lie... there attitude is cracking me up... and that makes me happy about the product when I think about the company behind it and smile...

  • wow, so many kick drums! lol

  • Ok Teddy im gonna try it. Thanks dude !!

  • I hope he mixed Rania's song on Presonus, its a good song. The german daw he spoke about is Sequioa 11, but then again he uses Lynx audio interface so Presonus sounds good on that, maybe RME interface on Presonus????

  • @DearSincere Hahaha how is Rania doing nowadays? I haven't been into k-pop for a bit. I DO know that recently he did the title for SNSD's new album, makes you wonder why he didn't give it to Rania...

That rania song is mastered really loud you noticed that? It's kinda annoying I always gotta turn it down in the playlist.

  • it aint the software its his ears.

  • @pistonear I agree...

Of course software is a variable and a choice, but without an 'ear', Ya got nothing.

  • Presonus is a very clean DAW

  • This man is a genius! :D

  • I have been working on mixes for a long time and came from the Protools HD gear and I have to admit, studio one pro has me blown away. I worked with Logic, Cubase, Protools and many others and they really are no comparison. I still run protools and did a double mix on a track and played both studio one won this competiton hands down. I love it.

  • Logic, Cubase and now PreSonus Studio One..... probably his still working with Logic

  • @TheodoreKaley actually it was Nuendo. . .

  • @King622 True, it was Nuendo, both from Steinberg ;-)

  • @TheodoreKaley yes very good point..I was thinking the same thing..this dude is all about the money..he will flog anything for the right price.

  • I meant daw ... :-)

  • I have been using Ableton like religion until I bought a Presonus Firestudio which came with Artist. I was simply amazed but could not believe my ears. Long story short, S1 is my goto saw. Cheers!

  • I'm ProTool certified and I love Studio One. It is easier and faster than ProTool and sounds good.

Now I like to go from Propellerhead's Record/Reason to Presonus' Studio One back and forward. They are also easier on the computer.

  • @stereovisions i do the exact same thing. reason and studio one.

  • good man...good ad...and a really good software

  • man Logic and Pro tools its the best

  • It's all good. Just a shame Teddy was playing the songs that don't actually have Michael Jackson singing lead vocal on.....

  • Thats a hell of an endorsement... you're getting there guys. The killer for a lot of us with the intro/basic package is the inability to use our own external vst's and having to use your stuff out of the box. Take those handcuffs off in version 2.0 or 3.0 and you'll have a Cubase-killer on your hands... Right now, I've got a whole bunch of stuff on Cubase Studio 5.5 that I can't port across to Studio 1 Artist and I'm faced with the upgrade choice of Cubase 6 full version or S1Pro...

  • @HighHopesBass Well, we could have put some other limitation on S1 Artist like limited tracks, limited number of inserts, etc.. But we decided to make it limitless in regards to the total number of tracks. Since we give it away with our interfaces, we chose to limit the plugins to the ones that it comes with. But when you upgrade for $199, you not only get VST, you also get the Mastering Page, mp3 support, Video Support, Soundcloud Support and more. Hope you'll try the demo of S1Pro.

  • I understand that Rick, but my problem is, if I've got 200Eu or whatever to upgrade, I'm taking a chance... Whereas with the Cubase equivalent, I'm limited in some things, but not vst's etc, I can use pretty much anything. I cant properly trial S1Artist against Cubase Studio or even Reaper because Presonus havent let the product compete on an exact level playing field. I'd like to try it, but it means that I cant really take what I've been working on already, I'm going to have to start again.

  • @HighHopesBass I totally understand. If you are looking to check out the sound difference, please download our demo. It is a completely working 30 day demo and will let you check out the features (including all of the ones I mentioned) and you can do a mix in both DAWs and see which one you like better.

  • @ricknaqvi: continued.... which means that the vst limitation is going to impact more on me than it would with Cubase 6 or Reaper. I've not a doubt that you've got a very good, very tempting product and I applaud what the company has done. But until I can judge it against its peers, openly, something is likely to hold me back from taking the plunge to the full product. S1A could be a great product in its own right, if only the company would let it. Worth considering for v.2.0 or 3.0.

  • That's awesome

  • what plugins can you use like waves etc.

  • @rocksteaddyteddy You can use any AU, VST2 or VST3 Plug ins including the Waves, UA, etc..

  • Demo time.
