When you save it, instead of clicking through the different file bases, you can do (ex:)

(Just type .jpg)

i make the blur for the 1st layer 5/5 2nd layer 20/20 and 3rd layer 40/40. bigger glow.

i did all the blurring and crap but it's still just white

did you use the color balance tool?

if yes, then try the colorize tool instead

If you're doing it against a neutral background (Black, White and any shades of grey between) it will stay white when you try colour balance, since there is no colour.

dude, it's sooo similar to adobe CS3 photoshop..

the only thing is, it's completely useless, you could might as well take a screenshot of a 90's star wars game, put it to good use, will ya...

Well, to get the realistic sound of a light saber, you must download a sound track (MP3) that you put in the background of your media (first you have to mute the original sound).

If you want, I can make a tutorial showing how to mute out your original sound and place a different media in the background (like music or in your case, light saber sounds).

well then the only way to create a movie with this is by animation, colden22... very hard thing to do... you can find the soundeffect almost anywhere on the net. and thanks scrathedchalk i wanted to know how to do this with GIMP... so then just download right? thanks
