Yes, defend the universally human laws of no murder and no stealing as if their existence is solely thanks to Christianity, don't start with the clearly religious commandments. Doing so would prove you wrong, selfish, and bigoted. Can't allow that to happen. Well, actually, you and your kids already have proven that with their, "If you don't like our God, then get out of Giles County" talk.
So the parents say the only way they can teach kids not to kill or steal is to first tell them that there is an invisible magic old man in the sky watching them, and that this magic sky daddy wants them to spend their time praising him, keep holy his Sabbath day (under threat of the death penalty, as per the Bible), that there should be no other gods before him, and they should not use his name in vain.
Silly parents dilute down morality (which is easily accessible without superstitions).
Nobody has a problem with telling kids not to steal, lie, or murder. It's the whole "I am the lord your god, you shall have no other gods before me" stuff that is the problem.
HAHAHAHA "there is nothing wrong with telling children what's right and wrong".
that's the best she could come up with lol.

They are so dishonest, pretending it's just about lying and stealing, when the very first commandment is not to worship any other gods than theirs.

Only showing 4 through 8 of the 10 commandments - bible cherry piling and hypocrisy 101. And obvious news station bias.
