  • it sounds good to me

  • I have seen many many Beatles Tribute bands and I have to say this is the closest to McCartney's voice that I've heard yet. Great job!

  • JUST LIKE THE BEATLES

  • marvellous band

  • id rather have playback on the bass and have him "play" it left-handed

  • well done boys

  • I saw these guys perform in Austin the other night. I would recommend it.

  • no comparison to Fab4 at all

  • @hofnersinla Yeah, Rain is wayyyyyy better.

  • Outstanding cover!

Keep up the great work boys!!

    Lou Bawlz Radio Show

    Beatles , talk and more

  • The drummer looks more like Keith Moon than Ringo...

  • great Paul vocal

  • Yes, it is getting better. Thanks for keeping the music going.

  • The Fab Four are better because the band of a left handed McCartney which makes it a bit more believable

  • @ShadowPheonix12 Who cares what hand he's playing with? Joey Curatolo is the best sound-a-like I have yet heard by far!!! I am a huge Paul fan and I am VERY critical of who sings the Beatles. Joey Curatolo nailed it

  • @Tjpbeatles92 i never said he didn't SOUND like Paulie, i was just saying it kind of takes away from the illusion. The Fab Four's Paul McCartney, Ardy Sarraf, is actually a right-handed player but he taught himself to play left-handed. So, you've got to give props to Ardy for the commitment

  • @Tjpbeatles92 Sorry but this guy is pathetic compared to Ardy Sarraf, in all honest nobody does the Beatles tribute better than the Fab Four, it's physically an almost perfect recreation. not downing on these guys, but there's a reason the Fab Four sells out shows around the world and all the others have to beg to play at third rate festivals.

  • @shitfeast I'm not dissing the Fab Four at all as they do put on a fantastic show, but I just have to point out the fact that RAIN just played nearly a year on Broadway...and has been touring the Broadway circuit now for years. It's been years since RAIN has played at any festival, let alone a third rate festival. Just look at their touring schedule. It's admirable.

  • @shitfeast Ardy Sarraf is in Rain now. I saw him with them a few months ago.

  • @shitfeast Haha. Rain plays sells out giant amphitheaters all around the world, and has 3 casts, 2 touring shows, and one on Broadway. The Fab Four came to my town a few months ago. They were playing at a small night club. There is a reason Rain is on Broadway, and Fab Four isnt.

  • going to see them 2morrow.... CANT FRIGGIN WAIT! im 12 and obsessed with the beatlesss!!!!!!

  • Its just called "Getting Better"

  • Rain is the best Beatles tribute and out there, and this isn't my opinion either! xD

  • @sacramentolove I hate to keep commenting on this, but if that isn't your opinion than you got it from somebody miss informed. I hate to break it to you, but The Fab Four is the greatest tribute band, and that comes straight from George Martin himself. if you haven't seen them, which you should if you live in Sacramento (they play at the state fair every year) then your sorely missing out

  • @shitfeast Ok, but "Rain" is the most well known tribute band band and/or best. Sorry to argue, but I guess that's my opinion.

  • @shitfeast Fab Four plays at the state fair. Rain has 3 casts, one on Broadway, one touring show in the U.S, and another in Europe. Rain is the greastest tribute band.

  • This guy sure does sound like Paul but I do like Fab Four better. Ardy, the bassist in the Fab Four, is left handed.

  • @Skinnysk8erguy95 He is in Rain now.

  • I saw them in Düsseldorf, Germany... and the guy on the drums waved to me! And I waved back and he waved back laughing and I became crazy and all the other people were like WTF??

  • saw them in edmonton

  • Wow he sounds like Paul too!!!

  • wow he sounds like Paul too!!!

  • Very good especiall for a live performance, great bassline

  • I just missed the Fab Four here in Sacramento last week, however they are playing several dates here in Northern California soon so I will be sure and check them out. Thanks for letting me know. A left handed bass player is always better.

  • @cfolkes When i saw Rain last June in Stockton the guy played the bass left handed but the acoustic guitar right.

  • The guy on drums seems pretty happy.

  • Have seen RAIN 10 or 12 times in the last 30 years. Also saw the Beatles in '66 at Dodger Stadium. RAIN is the closest you will ever get to seeing the Beatles. They blow away all the other tribute bands.

  • @cfolkes Have you ever seen The Fab Four? Rain is certainly one of the top Beatles tribute bands, but I prefer The Fab Four. They are more authentic, they play everything live with only the four guys (no extra fifth Beatle behind the scenes like Rain), and most songs I feel that they sound much closer. Plus, while I believe the Paul in Rain is the strongest of the group, Ardy of The Fab Four blows him away in looks and sound. Plus, he learned to play both bass and guitar left-handed.

  • @propgirl16 But think logically- the real Beatles (at the time that they stopped touring) had began to make their recordings much more complex. The track "bouncing" technique was discovered by the engineers at EMI, so there was more song versatility. This song alone had several tracks. Four men, unless they pre-record (which Rain doesn't do) can only play so much. So even if there's only four guys, doesn't that make them more prone to avoiding small details?

  • @propgirl16 The Fab Four actually plays ALL The Beatles songs with just the four of them? btw I have their Christmas cd it`s great.

  • @propgirl16 Ardy IS in Rain now. Ha

  • @gregtheegg14 Actually he isn't. He's still in the Fab Four, however, he is hired by Rain to fill in for the occasional show.

  • @propgirl16 Oh ok. His name and bio is in Rain's pamphlet as a cast member of Rain playing the role of Paul, so to the average Rain fan, it would seem as if he is a cast member. That is unfortunate for the hardcore Fab Four fans. It would seem like an act of betrayal on his part.

  • @gregtheegg14 But then again, I don't blame him.

  • They're awesome! It's like if all The Beatles were sill alive, pudgy, and dyed their hair to keep it their natural colors.

  • Oh yeah these guys are coming to my city, too bad I'm too young to go :(

  • @Shancus32796 ask your parents to take you...there are plenty of kids with their parents at the show...I took my 14 year old daughter

  • @mike6459 You sure they'd let a 14 year old in a casino? Seems kinda risky.

  • excelent!!

  • its so sad that nobody can touch the beatles and yet tribute bands try and fail as nobody can master the beatles, this was awful and the only tribute band i have seen is the bootleg beatles who are a little bit better then this sorry bunch but as i said...

  • @jimbo01111 You are too Beatles obsessed. This is a very good live cover and there are even better ones, but it is probably waste of time to argue with you.

  • @jimbo01111 i know it does`nt matter to you but Rain was hired by Dick Clark to do the soundtrack for the movie Birth of the Beatles.

  • @jack2breeze ..Birth of the Beatles was recorded by the original RAIN in 1979..not these guys...

  • @Lineberrys i know

  • saw them at the Segerstrom it was excellent

  • They were so good it brought tears to my eyes. Incredible show, production, couldn't get enough of them. Telling everyone to get tickets while they are in town. And I see at least one concert a month!

  • "ReCartney" from Germany are great, too.

    Check'em out...

  • Saw them in South Bend last week, they really are very accurate to the Beatles and tremendous musicians.

  • Going to see them in Milwaukee tomorrow night. Can't wait. The overall show is as good as it gets!

  • saw the show the other night ...phenomenal

  • Very good! The cover bands is cover bands! Beatles is Beatles... this cover band ís very good!! Carry On!!!!

  • i like the fab four a Little Better

  • ya think these guys SUCK!

  • @hofnersinla Wow, some little boy you are. I think they arent good or bad. But still, Shut up. I wish there would be four guys who sounded just like the Bealtes. So just be happy with we have.

  • @IronMike902 there is, they are called the Fab Four

  • they should use the actual beatles instruments, the hofner 500/1 the rickenbacker 325 capri, and the gretsch

  • They do, they use different instruments every set that the beatles used in that period of time

  • that is one sexy rickenbaker if i do say so myself

  • Saw the show a few nights ago in Portland and it was a blast. Fun to hear the Fabs play "Give Peace A Chance" and "Imagine." If only...

  • I saw the concert on Public TV tonight, and something didn't look right...It just didn't look or sound live, at least not all of it. The really weird thing to me was the guy who plays Paul. His mouth was SO far away from the mic, and his moving around made the distance between his mouth and the mic very inconsistent, yet the vocals were studio volume steady, and crystal clear. Some of the music seemed a little fishy too.

    Something just wasn't right...

  • Memo to amgent, This isn't the Beatles having a bad night! It's a cover band. Do you honestly expect them To make that stuff sound exactly, perfectly, like the records? And they cover so much? I forgive them if it aint' perfect every time.

  • They sing live, I've seen them in Concert 3 times. there's no doubt in my mind.

  • Good Tribute Band but its just Getting Better not all the time!

  • these guys are comeing to where i live.

  • They did good, but you have to admit- they're just a bunch of fat middle-aged men.

  • that's the best impersonation of paul i have ever seen or definitelly heard! bring him back!

  • The drummer looks kike Jakie Chan.

  • Wow Another Band that does Beatle Songs that was Amazing

  • your right

  • Great Band BUT @ 2:24 Looks like Keith Moon playin drums sober

  • It sure does look like Keith Moon! More than Ringo!

  • Where's Ringo's moustache? He had one during this period as well.

  • one of my favorite beatles songs mad they didnt play it last night

  • Its just not right, Paul playing right handed.

  • just saw them other night, they have a new Paul that sounds, acts, and is left handed just like him that its weird

  • naw, the paul just learned to play left handed

  • no, the one in this video's name is Joey, the one i saw his name was Alex, even someone distinguished it another video

  • Wait- they actually gave this Paul the boot? That's a shame. :(

  • no, they have more than just these guys, the show i went to just so happened to have Alex, i know the originals are still performing for sure

  • @ hiphopsucks96

I think they have an official Paul (right-handed), and a standby Paul (left-handed) so the main one can take breaks. They probably all have understudies, but people notice when Paul switches out because the hand dominance changes.

  • Yes, RAIN has two actors who portray each character in order to perform the show to as many people as possible. Both Joey and Alex are still on board.

  • LOL ,,just listened to the Caverners doing this and almost fell asleep...good job lads .

  • This is really really GOOD!

  • I guess I saw them here in Tampa when Joey was there because he was playing lefty on the bass. I saw a lot of clips of a righty bass and was impressed when I saw the lefty bass playing. Made it all really come together.

  • That would actually be Graham Alexander on bass. RAIN has two casts. Joey plays righty, Graham plays lefty. Both amazing though!

  • RAIN is superb!!...my brother and i saw them in march and they were terrific!...the drummer has ringo down to perfection...what a wonderful beatle night!

  • great

  • Not bad. One of the better Beatle clone bands.

  • This band does a great job of covering the Beatles

  • have they got a CD out, I really wanna buy it!

  • They have 3 out.. I have all of them and I would highly reccomend them!

  • But good - Jimmy Nichol lives.

  • lol the tempo is almost exactly the same if not identical to the original.

  • you stupid idiot how about you listen to the original right after this and compare

  • i wouildnt want to dedicate my life to someone elses life

  • it probably pays better than creating that perfect burger at Mickey Dees. if they are good at it and enjoy it, why knock it.

  • Great version of "Getting Better". To beatleddie, I'm not sure what clip you saw of Ardy from the Fab Four but you might want to check some other clips. He's spot on Paul. Alex Smith from Beatlemania Now is also very good as is Gary Grimes from 1964 The Tribute. Peace & Love Beatlemaniacs!! Peace & Love.

  • actually now, alex smith steps in when joey from RAIN needs a break

  • now that's a worthy tribute!

  • I keep hearing about the Fab Four and their Paul...This guys kicks his ass!! I would trade a a right handed Paul who sounds like Paul, over someone who plays left-handed. Andy from the Fab Four does a very weak Paul!!m c'mom people...it's about the SOUND!!!

  • Check out the Fab Four, left handed bass and dead on with all 4 members, shockingly good.

  • I agree, Fab Four are great!!!!!!!

  • Well i am going to see this is june and so far i am not impressed >.> but i am optimistic!

  • i like the guy who does paul, such an optimistic fellow even when he was talking about beating up a woman. hahaha seriously he's cool.

  • lol yeah Joey's awesome :)

  • I saw them...

not bad. not bad at all

not as good as the real thing but it's pretty damn close

  • They should ditch the outfits.

  • yeah it's stupid to wear Sgt. Pepper outfits when doing a Sgt. Pepper song.

  • ???

  • Seems too slow to me.

  • Is it wrong of me to kinda want that Rickenbacker?

    It's incredibly gay, but...

  • umm what??????????????? rickenbackers are legendary.

  • No, THAT particular Rickenbacker is gay, but I still kinda want it.

I know Ricks are amazing, don't have to tell me that.

  • Saw RAIN tonight and they were awesome for about a 2 hour show. They have a really good video thing going with them in period shots like they were actually the Beatles as well. Their musicianship was fantastic (I am a musician as well). Their ability to reproduce songs from Sgt. Peppers, Magical Mystery Tour, etc. was quite amazing. Anyway, this group is well worth seeing and they are great showmen.

  • I saw them last night too! Fantastic show.

  • I know the guys in Rain AND The Fab Four. They're ALL great. Let's see you try to do what they're doing here. :-) And of course, there will NEVER be another Beatles. But this is the closest we're ever going to get to seeing them live.

  • They're a little too old to be doing this. You should check out The Fab Four. No one comes close to what they can do. They even have a left handed Paul.

  • they're not that much older than the fab four, actually. In fact, I think Steve Landes is just hair younger than Ron.

and the reason for their age is that they were all cast members of Beatlemania waaaaay back when

  • i saw tgen last year!!

  • Rain is good, but The Beatles are better!

  • Add this band to the only tribute bands I will pay to see.Get The Led Out (Led Zep),Musical Box (Genesis),and Australian Pink Floyd. Can't wait for the Delaware shows.

  • saw these guys live, one of the best! The John Lennon guy looks like my old woodshop teacher! :)

  • They are awesome. It is very similar to the beatles which is awesome. Now i can see the beatles even though i wasn't even born when they were together! Coool!

  • agreed...sounds almost just like them too huh? good impressions...just a shame they

re just impersonators..Nothing beats the real thing

  • I want Harrison's hat. Also his skill.

  • this is as good as it gets when ur singing a beatles song

  • I love their funny outfits! oh and awesome song too!

  • outrageously good! play in a beatles tribute band myself (the bargain beatles) but i would love to get this good - paul is magnificent! saw the mersey beatles play at the cavern recently. they did an amzing job on this song, too, and we're now putting it in our repertoire.

  • they stink youd think they could find a left handed paul!

  • very good. nice job

  • ok,the next best thing since the Beatles!!!!!

  • never heard of these guys, but, hey! they are dam goody

  • the drummer even has the ringo headbobbing down!

  • Me fascinó loa interpretación de este grupo, sobre todo al final cuando parece que va a terminar como la canción original y nos sorprenden con otro pequeño getting so much better all the time.

  • That is some damn fine work! Even the wurlitzer ep is perfect.

  • i love their sense of humor on stage, it's like the real beatles.

  • Check out another english tribute to the beatles called fab four

  • really good¡

  • I've never seen another Beatles cover to compare with, but this seems pretty good. How old are these guys?

  • "Paul" actually sounds a lot like paul in this band, quite impressed. There's a band in England that do pretty good Beatles covers, the Bootleg Beatles, I'll have to ferret out a vid of them and decide who i like best

  • Yeah, pretty darn good cover. Awesome, actually.

  • mmmmm some good favorites there ! I'am actually going to go see them in Febuary at the gennesse theatre in wakeugen ,illinois! WHHOOOOOOOOOoo and i'am so thrilled and excited!

  • angelas1964, u shud be excited! im fourteen and a HUGE beatles fan and i really felt like i saw the beatles perform!!! they cover all of the beatles music, from I Wanna Hold Your Hand until Let It Be. just awesome.

  • Rain is getting better all the time to my ears!

  • the drummer looks just like keith moon!

  • wow! He sounds just like Sir Paul mccartney! definitely the best beatle's tribute ive ever heard or seen. can't wait till they come to Boston.

  • Wow. This is a really good cover. This makes me want to go check out this band. I'm really picky about tribute bands but this one really has my seal of approval!

  • I'm goin' to see Rain in Calgary. They did a good job of covering this song! :D

  • nice oufits

  • Wow. This is a very impressive cover.

  • Wow!Yeh!They're Impressive,Alright!Saw them @ the Cave,in Vanc,3 times,in '80 &'81.They were Awesome, Great!Rain closed the Cave!SoCool.Last Group to play there.The Musician who portrays John Lennon Looked jst,way like him.Saw him,close,Wish I told him this too!Really.Best New York Tribute Group,ever.All True.Thx.Cheers.

  • YAY! Rain is my FAVOURITE Beatles tribute band :)

  • is the set list always the same at every show? i dont remeber them doing this one both times i went. then agin maybe i was too much in awe

  • he keeps playing with his left hand, you can see him.

  • I saw Rain a couple of weeks ago. THEY WERE AWESOME!!!

  • rain's vocal are better than the fab faux. I am a huge fab faux fan, but sometimes their vocals are off from the original

  • This is AMAZING!

  • Congratulations.. The best. steelguitar7 in YouTube

  • I've seen the Fab Four, I wish they would have covered this song. This is good stuff here

  • i love rain though!

  • Rain does a pretty good job,but if any Beatle fanatic has a chance to catch The Fab Faux from NYC,you'll see no better.

  • Rain Kicks So Much Ass...I Worship Them Just As Much as the Beatles...thats just me tho

  • Awesome Video. These guys are awesome. I saw them in Baltimore, Maryland.

  • I wish the Beatles had made a live film of "Getting Better", but I guess this will do.
