Sadr city has made intense progress, it got to a point where Iraq security forces had cut off all exits from half of the city, and totally occupied the other half, building a wall between.

Now sadr has asked for a ceasefire and IA and IP are patrolling the streets there.

The US hasn't been able to stop all the violence because Sadr SPECIFICALLY barred them from entering. So of course they have to hand it to the Iraqis, they've been banned from entering by their commanders and by Sadr. They know full well that in order for progress to be made, this entire operation has to be Iraqi led and handled.

BTW, an entire batallion of Iraqis actually came from Anbar, which Badr has no influence over.

Finding of heavy weapons is up, both the army AND the police are being warmly welcomed (so much for the army being all Badr militia), there hasn't been a single major attack against them.

The Government of Iraq already has set up checkpoints, community centers to distribute aid, teams are already mobilizing to restore infrastructure in Sadr City. The video does absolutely nothing at all to show how there ISN'T progress. Even if what the guy said is true, doesn't change that there's progress.
