The message: we must feel his love. Is confusing. We must feel the devine love which is an integrative love. To see the beauty in everthing, in the ugly also. GOD is more then he she it. Language is confusing indeed. Look at your surroundings as expressions of yourself. How can you condem them? It seems that there is a need, a reason they exist. I agree Jazzthemystic, thought seperates everything to catagorize it. But we are not seperate, just as the tree is not seperate from the soil and sun where it gains it's nourishment. "Be still and know I am God", as it say's in the Bible. Quiet the mind, senses, and become aware of your Spiritual nature, and realize God is above all, in all, and thru all. Or as they say in India, "Ominipresent."
@yuewenb Problem is I would need some empirical proof that a god exists before I change my life style to a point where I sit around for hours waiting for a deity to talk to me. If there truly is a god why hasn't this god revealed itself in such a way that the majority of people could not deny it's existence?
For me, empirical proof, not necessarily of "god" existing; but rather that something amazing, and worth investigating, is going on, can be found in the fact that reality exists in the first place. This is easy to take for granted, but once you stop and think about it for a moment; it really is "miraculous" that reality itself and the universe actually do exist. Try meditating for the well documented health benefits, and see if you also find greater meaning in and understanding of reality.

God as described here doesn't mean the same thing as the Protestant/Catholic anthropomorphic diety, but the No-thingness from which the entire universe sprang. This no-thing is none other than the Consciousness of the universe, of which your individual consciousness is a spark -- the relationship being akin to an ocean and a drop of water from it.
