  • I am currently trying to play this piece for a COLLEGE audition. Hats off to you sir

  • simply amazing

  • I'm a Jr. sax player in my H.S. Band. Absolutely wonderful! My only wonder is where did you learn to play like that before high school for crying out loud XD? Sounds like you picked the instrument up when you were a toddler lol.

  • Very good for 9th grade. Keep up the good work!

  • can you tell me where you got this music?

  • @likearc maybe even send it to me?

  • I am in the same year as you and i play a lot of venice and a lot of altissimo, I love how you play it! thanks for posting, i can't wait to play this version!

  • Wow. Absolutely fantastic. Ive had a bash at this myself, but you take the biscuit. Well done and I hope you go far...

  • Great job ... don't let the negative comments get you down. I've been playing from the Rascher repertoire for 40 years, and you have much to be proud of. With whom do you study?

  • Wow. This is like freaking amazing

  • this kid's obviously is wanting to be a pro sax player.

  • This was great to say the least, to play Carnival of Venice at the age of 15 is virtually unheard of. This is easily one of the hardest pieces of music written for the saxophone and trumpet because it tests all skills of the player. Especially scales, arpeggios, and the infamous "double tongue" concept. Don't sweat the altissimo, most saxophonists don't even touch that until college. Great job!

  • wow! You're really good..... esspecially for 15 :)

  • Wow. For 15, you've got it quite well! Great job!

  • I still think the Hemke arrangement is the hardest. The duet with yourself gets me every time lol. :P

  • ballin. you should go to ole miss. we need another good sax. in the section. you are a beast dude. bet you cant play carnival of venus...

  • I don't know, but this song is really good, but why play it as a freshman? If it was me, I would've saved it for junior or senior year, sounding really good at it because this is probably one of the hardest solos high school saxes could play

  • holy shit this kids 15 give him a break....well above his peers

  • Technically, it was okay, and my rating might have been biased by the poor acoustics, but overall not good. And you TOTALLY botched the altissimo. For a Rascher piece, one needs much better control of the upper register. Keep on trying!

  • @saxinjax0730 Definatly ruined the altissimo! It was pretty go until the second page. Keep working

  • @saxinjax0730  yur just angry you can't play good :}
