2008 was literally Boston's year. Everything they did prior before the season started helped them. Sure winning Championships are good, BUT your first one is very special.
Even the song they chose in the intro that year, "Requiem for a Dream", helped them thru the season. They got so freakin' pumped and their emotions blew up. ;)

tell me if there are any 3 guys on the nba that were more deserving of the title then ray,KG,and pierce? all played for over a decade for crappy teams! and all are great players!! so fair!! and one day all 3 will be on the hall of fame!!
