Hi, I am booked in to have Birmingham hip resurfacing on the 29/3/12. I am only 32 years old and have been putting up with pain in my right hip for about 3 years. Just wodering how you are doing now? Very inspirational video.
@coastalfurn Hi and thanks for writing. I will celebrate one year since the BHR in my Right hip on 3/21/2012 and I am doing fantastic! I am in the gym 4-5 days a week and can run PAIN FREE, exercise, ski, hike, bike, swim, play, etc with no pain or complications. Feel free to message me with any specific questions you may have. Look fwd to talking with you soon!
I also wanted to tell you that I am 50 years old and was in great health when I checked into the hospital last monday. Can't wait to get all dressed up and walk pretty..........BEAUTIFUL scenery in the back ground. Where are you/
HIi MATT! My name is Lisa. I just had a hip replacement 8 days ago. The thing that has helped me the most in my recovery was working out. There were those days where I could hardly walk into the gym, but for some reason, the ellipticle always made me feel some relief. I also did some weight training for my core which like you could lose about 20 pounds, but I THINK A LITTLE THICK is attractive.CONGRATS on your huge weight lose! I can't believe the difference! Yippee! Lisa
Considering having the procedure done...can you answer some questions?

@mgfliby Hi, what made you decide to go ahead and have the surgery? How did you feel on the lead up to the surgery?
