This is rougher and more uncomfortable due to the over the shoulder restraints, the height and speed differences aren't noticeable, and the 2nd hill is also negligible due to the roughness. The theme for TTD is also much more exciting, and the anticipation buildup is perfectly executed. This is after riding both this summer.

I've been on both, and TTD seems to be smoother and a better made ride, while KK seems to be more intense and out of contol, which i like. But Kingda Ka didnt copy anyone. They were both made by Intamin, and when six flags went to them and asked for a record breaking roller coaster, thats the route they took in terms of design. A 450 ft lift hill would take up too much space, and be way to expensive. (although it would be awsome)

The Top Thrill Dragster has a good theme, a smoother ride, and no shoulder harness. Kingda Ka is barely any faster or taller, and loses some excitement with the addition of the shoulders.

Top Thrill Dragster and Kingda Ka were both build by Intamin, the designs are similar. The fact is, Kingda Ka is 36 feet higher, 8 mph faster, and has a second smaller airtime hill. I don't know why everyone can't be content that both TTD and KK are great coasters, but the truth is, in every conceivable objective measurement Kingda Ka is superior.

OK one thing this ride sucks major over the shoulder restrains like the ones on this kill TOP THRILL DRAGSTER has bar restraints it gives you so much more room and when you get to the peak you can lean over for the feel that your free falling who cares if there is a little hill at the end or if its 18 feet taller or 8 mph faster

Im from england, and stealth is good, but its less than half the height of this, and this is 128mph compared to stealth's 80-odd, theres a bit of a difference. saw: the ride is the best thing at thorpe park. TTD at cedar point is the best of these type of coasters anyway, you only have lap restraints!
