    Thanks, Hashi

  • Full of class. A treat to listen to.

  • John - Super Job and my hat's off to you for doing a stellar job of keeping this music alive! Great work and it's always so refreshing to hear these tunes done by such a "tasteful but not timid" guitar man! Keep up the great work!

    Randy

  • Thanks for that Randy... As long as my fingers move, I'll be playing! And listening to players like yourself too. :)

    Thanks again.. John

  • Lovely, John, and I enjoyed the information in the box. My little group's making a record right now, and a handle on the lyrics is becoming increasingly important... - us instrumentalists'll be bursting into song next, eh!

  • And why not? Best 'o luck with the recording, and I hope it makes it to YT. All the best Barry.

    Thanks again. John

  • The Fred Astaire of the guitar.Very relaxed, very cool, very nice.

  • If only I could move around like Fred used to! Thanks Mac. Obliged. John.

  • As always a pleasure to hear your very beautiful "sweet " sound and especially your interpretation of this composition full of swing and with each notes played in the good moments.

All right...Thanks to post this tune.

    Stephane.

  • John

What a great composition, and very well done. You have a very easy playing style that seems so effortless but I know how difficult it is to get that tone and technique down as well as you do. I like the little eyebrow lift at the end LOL.

    Rich

  • You are very kind Rich. I don't know about an eyebrow lift. I need a 'body-lift'! Thanks again for your comments. Appreciated. John

  • John, you're very musical,I can hear those lines coming from inside , sounds very natural, with lot's of Soul and great tone, you're a Jazzman in your Heart. This is very good melodic playing and Cole Porter, what a great composer, this is Music with a big M, glad you're back and Jazzin' the strings,Greetings Vic.

  • Cheers Victor. I always appreciate your comments. I am trying to get back into the swing, gradually. So look out for more of this stuff! Thanks again... John

  • This is great John! I love the little touches of Sinatra-like phrasing.

  • Yep. Frankie did a great job on this one. One of my favourite Sinatra recordings along with 'Under My Skin', another Porter hit!. Thanks again. John

  • Nice and relaxing, John. Now, that was a treat. 8-)

  • Hi Scott. Thanks for that. As ever it's appreciated. I am slowly getting around to all my friends here. Takes time, but then I have the music to help! Cheers, John

  • Agree as above great clarity and quality! In both pic and playing!

  • Thanks for that Paul. it's appreciated, and when I feel like something more modern, I always click onto your channel. And you have a nice axe! All the best. John
