Hmm...could you tell me the settings you had on the 60D and Twixtor :D i just got both the cam and the software and I'm really eager to use them. But, I'm really lost and I havent seen footage as good as yours so I was wondering If you could tell me or if there's a good tutorial that you know about! Thanks mate! amazing video!
@DragoKnightxt10 (1/2) sure can! I used a canon 28-135mm lens @ 3.5. I think my ISO was around 1600 or so. The main thing is to have your 60d in 720p@60fps with a shutter speed at 1-2000. To be honest twixtor is one of those things I either suck at or get lucky on. My settings I think were just 59.94 FPS and motion sensitivity of 94 or so. The shutter speed makes a huge difference. You can see that it seems evening here but it was about 1 with a clear sky so you need lots of light and less
@DragoKnightxt10 (2/2) detail to get better results. unfortunately this one i have to redo cause this was my first vid and i used export instead of render which is why the quality sucks:/ i can make a tutorial for you if you would like me too.
@VandalScythe its an awesome camera for the price! My advice: most people get a 7d for 600 bucks more because of more focus points but instead get a 60d spend 30 bucks to get a new focus screen and you have a camera that blows a 7d away! plus another 570 bucks in your pocket
@VandalScythe the points the camera needs to focus the video. The more points basically the quicker and more accurate the video will focus. The 60d has 9 focus points. The 7d has 19. but you can change out the screen for 30 bucks to a new screen with better focus points than the 7d. Type in something like 60d efs focus screen in youtube or something. thatll show you what im talking about.
@wildlifefilmpro basically i adjusted the motion sensitivity till it looked good for the most part. im still new to this so im not quite sure on what you mean conform in Cinema Tools. But if your using twixtor make sure you get the input frame rate correct.(automatically set to 30fps) that has messed me up greatly when i forgot to change that. other than that play with the motion sensitivity a little bit till its smooth.
the video is awesome, but tell me this - 60d has upto 30fps HD video, this defenitely isnt 30 fps. im guessing ue using some video editing software ? twixtor ??
@sandeepsampath1985 actually im running 60fps in 720 hd. the 60d will only run 30fps in 1080 but it will run 60fps in 720. Yes twixtor was used:) Thanks for the comment!

VandalScythe 9 months ago
@VandalScythe it has nothing to do with the camera. It was the first time or so I used twixtor and didn't tweak it good enough

@rushsubdivisions thanks for the reply dude. Anyhow i'd love to buy that camera hope you are still having a good time with it.
