...just sad that parkour is the art of movement where you go from A to B so fast as possible but whitout any flips or other tricks that are unusual. Freerunning is the art of parkour where flips are including,, but flips aren't the best way to go fast ;)

Thats not the fucking POINT of free running.

Free running means to get from point a to point b as fast as possible.

If you would have taken the normal sideway you would have been faster.

Most of the time people parkour/free run is just for fun, I would also take the fun route rather than the straight line if I had all the time in the world. And technically the video is parkour, as free running has an acrobatic aspect to it and you can clearly see the game doesn't allow you be very acrobatic.

have you ever actually done parkour? your eyes tend to focus on things that you can use.... Mirrors edge just helps to simulate that. And GTA4 is far less realistic for parkour simply because it is not a parkour game. Also, given that GTA4 is entirely open world, there would be far more routes than in mirrors edge because it is more linear
