I would not want to go back to where we started,otherwise NOTHING would have been learned.
Do I hope for peace? Sure!
The challenge that I have for everyone, is to prove YOURSELF right, instead of proving other opinions, convictions wrong. Go back and re-evaluate yourself FIRST before condemning someone else.
This applies in ALL aspects of life not just THIS scenario.
Be vigilant of your OWN thoughts FIRST and go from there :)
Take a SECOND & THIRD look into where your source of information comes from!
When you hear it over& over again,it can take you away like a riptide will take your breath in a panic.
There is NOTHING wrong with riding the waves. It is where your mind is ONCE you realize the wave took you to FAR for a ride.
If that riptide took you by surprise,
Stop, breath,collect your thoughts and swim diagonal back to shore even IF it means landing in a different spot.Reflect on the walk back to where u started
A beautiful and, I sense, confessional reflection on what has happened to Prince William County over the past year. Do you really think we can get back to where we started? That would be so nice.
