do u know :D or =D or :) or =) or any of them? u should turn the face to right, then u'll see that "D" is the mouth and ":" or "=" are the eyes.

in XD, its the same. X is the eyes and D is the mouth, and it means like crazy :D the eyes, (X) are closed so tight because the smiley face is laughing so hard and the mouth, (D) is open cuz the smiley face is laughing so hard... hope it helped.
