  • haha !! i live in florida and the very first second i heard the birds in the background i thought to myself "are they in florida?" hahaha.. Isettas are sweet cars.. verry innovative.. bigger isnt always better in my opinion. the beginnings of the "Smart Car". 50 yrs ago. too bad we got away from that logic and drive all these huge/dangerous gas guzzlers. if we drove cars like this gas prices would be stoopid low. like .59 a gallon but they got us by the short hairs w these guzzlers

  • Its based on the fiat 600.

  • @Secretxchanel You're thinking of the Multipla.

The BMW 600 is an enlarged Isetta with 2-cyl engine,

the basics ultimately used to develop the 700.

  • @rustycuyler The Isetta was a tree wheeler, this is more like a fiat 600 apart the front door.

  • @Secretxchanel No, it's not. Only certain markets (UK) got a three-wheeled Isetta, strictly for tax reasons. Normal Isettas have four wheels, the rear track being quite narrow. The 600 is similar in layout (an enlarged Isetta with one side door) but aside from displacement, is very different than Fiat's Multipla which is powered by an inline-4 cyl. water-cooled engine, whereas the BMW has an air-cooled flat twin. Crack a book.

  • @rustycuyler The 600 is not the multipla, and the 600 engine was not water cooled.

  • @Secretxchanel Guess since I own both I must be wrong. Troll much?

  • thats a cool car

  • these micro cars where built shortly after WW2 during a time when everyone was trying to conserve on materials used...they actually get around 80-150 mpg and usually have a 250cc motorcycle engine that powers them, their top speed usually only around 45 mph. I think they should make these again, definitely better than the smart car, and makes more sense.

  • they should still make these its got four seats right? you might be able to get good gas mileage off of it becuase it's so small. looks fun to drive and also looks affordable to most people.

  • It's the Steve Urkel car!
