@baklauno1 Not every teacher has a school and not every student wants to learn in a sterile soft training environment. For some of my guys, if i opened an official school they wouldnt come but because we fight, we bleed, we bruise.in the yard driveway, concrete. Where the fights happen....we feel it more remember ore etc
Ah, but there's a world of difference between hurting someone and injuring them. Injuring people in training is a no, no but you can clearly see at 1:45 where the contact was a little harder than intended that he was concerned about the student's wellbeing.
I don't know this guy but all of his students are respectful, everyone is smiling and they are having fun whilst learning.
@baldieman64 look, as you can see, he is just using his students as puching bags. and it seems like he is going all out. uuuuhhhhhhmmm...... no, maybe, 85% of his power. i just wanna say, observe clearly.
I study Eskrima, I'm also a trained boxer and a fencer. Elbow strikes to fists are difficult to pull off against a punch, especially when sparring, but they do work & I combine with parrying the punch into the elbow. It's only 1 technique, the principles behind that technique are great. I'm grateful I've was shown the path. Peace.
This is combat arts, guys who teach in real time, they train without gloves so you can learn how to take pain as well as give it. his foot work looks sloppy, but that could be misleading.
Oh, and to those who kick, do takedowns, or go full speed on guys like these: they live for it; they will only beat you harder and put you down sooner, I've seen it,it's ugly.....
how can i tell ? well first of all his opponents are not on the same level of aggression as the skinny tattooed guy is. they are trying to hit him like lil girls.
and second the leg work is not right. simply bad. too open to kicks and takedowns.
@zer0cool1909 its just a demonstration, but keep in mind its also application for real life timing. the footwork looks sloppy, because once again in real life, no ones footwork will be exactly as it is in when its practiced w/o a moving target. this martial art is not designed for sport, its for combat. picture your fist getting smashed by the point of a triangle, its not going to tickle lol. for more info watch dan insoantos panantukan vids on youtube, u wont be disappointed .

@ratiburz "shouldn't hurt your students"
Why on earth not ?
If it doesn't hurt, it don't work.

Nice. Reminds of bujinkan, where a lot of the blocks are actually strikes.
