Alot of wingers like to try a cheeky shot from outside the box, the advantage is the keeper expects them to cross, so the keeper will come out to try and punch the ball away from above the strikers, hardi knew this and shot towards goal, so the keeper would be heading in the wrong direction. Alot of wingers do this, just watch jesus navas of sevilla or jermaine pennant of zaragoza.
