Why didn't you get over there and help her? It's not like she could run off while she's giving birth and having to care for her baby...

If you interfere with them while they are giving birth the doe will get up walk off and that will endanger the fawn by suffacating in the womb . They both did fine and the fawn is now a yearling buck.
