Just for info, crosswind landings.. its always advisable to land with the wing dipping in to the wind. Of course it depends on operators manuals, but you don't get the horrible yanking of the tail that you get if you use the crab approach instead
@Christopherwoo Not always advisable, 2 completely different landing techniques. Wing down is advisable for light aircraft. However with jets, and more sizable aircraft the crabbed technique is advised with a degree of into wind aileron to counter any gusts, finally kicking it straight in the flare. This reduces risks of scraping engine pods, and catching wing tips! (Ex easyjet cabin crew, CTC cadet 200 hours shortly to start on the Airbus for easy)
