That's cool my only comment is if it was ment to be like a race they should have "re groomed" the track. The later cars had less "snow" to slide on so they looked faster. Need to have a fresh "snow" pack for each racer.

i agree with u guys that this is an amazing track...BUT...with the new micro r/c cars out now i dont really see the need for rails anymore...its too static...now that we can get rid of the nuance of rails , wouldnt it be nice to see tracks like this that u can actually race on and overtake when u see an oppurtunity? then u can incorporate actual terrain and physics..and build some kick ass little tracks..oh well just my opinion not trying to be an ass.ijust love new technology.

jajaja, a mi me queda un poco lejos, pero todos los clubs de slot comienzan así, buscando gente con la misma afición, reuniendose de vez en cuando, juntando las pistas de todos para hacer una más grande.. y entonces se decide alquilar un local y pagar una pequeña cuota para poder tener más circuitos (como los del video).

I've been in Scotland two years ago. Beautiful scennery. Green everywhere, like in Asturias. Here we have Sidra (cider) and there u are the masters of whisky. And both have bagpipes! haha

i used to race these type of slot cars but this track is a marvel ,absolutely unique, by far the best built track i have seen in a longtime .. it is amazing if i could i would give you a ribbon for best track but i cannot.. make sure you keep it up, and dont listen to what other people say when they say its easy to run on these tracks or that its for kids... slot cars are amazing for all ages..you and i both know running cars on these tracks can be very difficult because of flipping, again awsom

Tracks are obviously expensive (pieces, scennery..), but that's a slot club. There you pay a membership fee every month, between 30 and 50€ deppending on the club.

But cars are not actually cheap.. most of them are made from carbon fiber (chassis), magnesium (axles and rims), and the body is made of glass fiber.

Is not a cheap "sport", but is really funny, like RC cars and that kind of things

In the vid is hard to see but that slot car (was a WRC, the top class, with carbon fiber chassis and 4wd) got a glass fiber made Citroën Xsara Kit Car bodywork.

Despite of that, i remember that there were also for sale a BMW 3 Series Coupé E46 glass fiber bodywork.

tengo un subaru de eslot, que cuando lo coloco en la pista ba lentisimo casi ni se muebe le limpie las escobillas, le eche el lubricante este de motor que bende escalestric y nada,me pasa lo mismo con un c3, encambio a los otros 4 coches que tengo ban perfectos, así que descarté que fuera culpa de la pista.

No eNcuetro ninguna tienda en la que los reparen.

Sabes de que puede ser ?

Como bien dice neira, puede que sea del motor, pero alomejor porque tienes los imanes del motor cerrados de no usar el coche. También puede ser problema de escobillas o cables, que no "recojan" bien la electricidad del carril.

hay que deshilachar las escobillas un poco con un cuter o una aguja. de tal manera pilla toda la electricidad. de todos modos lo que es el carril suele estar limpio.

En el punte algunos, los más bajos, si que rozaban y casi se paraban si entrabas despacio. Otros saltaban porque iban pasados. Espectacular.

Actually, it makes perfect sense. Rally racing has to do more with beating times then directly racing other cars. A central place where a few scale model rally racers could get together with several different tracks simulating the different rally stages could make for a competitive weekend. The lowest combined time would result in a winner. I could see it.

Tras cada rally hay que hacer una limpieza a fondo con aire comprimido, cepillo e incluso agua y jabón si no sale, desmontando todas las piezas y tal. Cuando lo montas de nuevo nadie te diría que acabas de hacer una croqueta con él xD.
