i think in a sense parents have more experience. but its just awkward and i think teenagers are afraid their parents will judge them or make assumptions. i know i dont talk to my mom about everything because usually it leads to another conversation that i dont want to have. but friends tend to understand better, unless your parents are super understanding. but yeah, i agree with you about the internet and pedophiles. all the stories you hear has caused the world to go into paranoia. good vid :)

I agreed with a lot of what you said.

But I think the point about paedophiles on the internet is that they pretend not to be and some of them are quite good at that! Which is why its best to meet people in a public place and even better with other people. But generally, there is unhelpful hysteria that suggests everyone online is a paedophile when obviously a hugely high percentage are not!

especially the bit about where teens get the pressure to have sex from, and the part about being taught about how to be protected, etc.

at my old school, they teach abstinence and you get an A if you sign an abstinence agreement pact, and an F if you don't, which is really awful because we have a high percentage of kids dropping out because of teen pregnancy

An age of consent (helps) protect the young from predation by older people. Teens will always have sex with each other. The issue is 30+ year old people having sex with teens. That is an uneven relationship. Sex education will help avoid STDs and unwanted pregnancies. Education helps most things. :)
