Worms reloaded? Trine? Super meat boy? SMBX? New super mario bros? Bionic commando rearmed? Rampage city? Descent for the wii? the list goes on and on.. There is alot of Retro inspired games that is alot better than the old ones. And there is more of them every year. no real games anymore? you are just blind if you dont see the retro trend going stronger and stronger in gaming.

@selon Country returns and Epic yarn aren't really retro-like... I mean... Kirby isn't like that, not the kirby i always played. About Returns... Look at that! where is K. Rool and the Kremlings? That's not returning, that's DONKEY KONG COUNTRY NEW VILLAIN ADVENTURE! These tiki things disappointed me a lot. I'm glad they didn't change the character, because apart of it, everything is different! Where are the bonuses? PUZZLE PIECES? WTF! SNES DKC for ever!

@xAmon12x It felt like Country to me. Seriously, the villians are arbatrary but Returns villians was kind of lame from time to time. But I think the most important aspect of the country games is the atmosphere and they succeeded with that.

From the new games, most that I play are Colin McRae Rally, GTA and Call of Duty, well, yeah, they're not as good as old classics like DKC, Doom, Wolf3D, Goldeneye, Zelda or Banjo Kazooie, but they are kind of the exception when compared to other titles that were created just for the sake of graphics (eehm, Crysis?).

I guess they wanted to make it faster to better fit the speed of brawl. but damn, they screwed it up ... why can't people let things stay as they are and as fans love them?
