@virginie987 I understand. But really in the video I explain wich keys to play with your left hand, so just listen carefully and also pay attention to the annotations and you'll be fine!:)
@123456789charlotte33 I'm sorry I have no solution for that, but I dó mention the keys and notes that I play and you can read the annotations, should be enough, that is if you know the names of the keys of course. I really can't be more clear than I already have.
@Nesh16041972 yeah my apologies, I wrote that just after watching the first few seconds, it was only after I realised you went on to she the notes, was a big help! thank you!
@Nesh16041972 yeah my apologies, I wrote that just after watching the first few seconds, it was only after I realised you went on to show us the notes, was a big help! thank you!
De echte bridge is echter het gedeelte van: what's your definition of the one etc.
The key is way to high for me, maja zingen maakt wel duidelijker waar je bent in een liedje, echter t leek me slimmer t toch verder achterwege te laten, lol!
Groetjes, Vanessa
Hey! THank you sooo much for uploading this video:) It helped me a lot! But I can't seem to find the video of the bridge.. Could you make a link to it? thankyou!
@PianoXxRobin Hi there, actually I erased the video, I wasn't very satisfied, anyway, I uploaded it again, so check out my channel and you'll find it, thanks for your comments!
With your left hand you play the corresponding bassnotes, the right hand plays the chords, of course you have to sing along, because the piano does only the comping part. So when you play a C-chord, with your left hand you play one single C-note with your pinky and another C-note with you thumb. But for this song, there's a D-chord and with your left hand you play the F#-bassnotes, it's written down like this: D/F#. I hope this helps!
Thanks for your comment and I agree with you totally, I just don't really have a solution for it, I tried to use a stand, but then I cannot play..but thx again!
thanks for replying so soon :) even though your busy! :) il keep a look out for when you do the second part :) thank you for the forget me not reminder! x
omg thank you so much! ive always been such a huge fan of lucie silvas! but is there any chance you can play the second half? because i love singing with the piano too and i really get into it :D it would be great if you could do another tutorial on it! your an amazing teacher i dont even no how to play piano and ive learnt it! thank you so much! ooh and if i could do a quick request for lucie silvas forget me not :D could you reply to this please! thanks xx
Hello there! Thank you very much for your kind words! And I guess I should do a second part of this song, I'm just really busy, but I will try some time. I'm very pleased to hear that you're able to play this song and as for forget me not, I already did a tutorial of this one, just check my channel. Anyway, thanks again!
I play the corresponding bassnotes, so for E you play an E, For C a C, for Em also an E, but for example the D is played with a different bassnote, wich is the F#, you write such a chord like this: D/F#. I hope this makes any sense.
helooo , this was realii helpfull nd i learnt i in no timee , i was wondering if youu knew ow to play the part after the second chorus where it goes up a key ?? because i havee no idea! pleasee help! x
Alright, the first line you play: Em for 2 beats, then an A-chord with your right hand along with a C#-bassnote with your left hand for 2 beats, then a B-chord with your right hand along with a D#-bassnote with your left hand for 4 beats. The second line you do the same.
The thirth line, an Em for 2 beats, then a C for 2 beats, finally a B-chord for 4 beats, does this make sense?
Thanks so much for this tutorial! It's REALLY helpful, I love that you actually tell us what you're playing as well as show us. For someone like me who has never played piano before (but am tempted to try my flatmate's keyboard), I learnt a lot from your video :)
I'm actually learning this one..ambitious, i know..lol! might take me a while to get my fingers to cooperate but it's going pretty good so far :)
Ah, you're so sweet, thank you very much! Actually, I've seen some of your video's and you're doing very well! I also like your presentation of yourself on Youtube, I know that's not easy as you're saying in the video of Linkin Park, anyway thanks again and I wish you happy singing and playing!
Thank you very much :) Btw, I wondered if you have a video of how to play the next part of this song? Please let me know if you upload it :) Thanks again! & it's true, you are a great teacher :) xx
Hi Nad, well I have to admit that you're not the first one to ask me, so I will try to do an attempt as soon as I can! In the meanwhile, you can check out the info-button for the chords, anyway thanks for your response and kind regards, Vanessa
I'm gonna sing it on a show with or school, but there was no one who did the piano, cause my musicteacher is sick. So now I can learn the song trough this vid.
Hi there, give me a day or two and I'll get back to you, in the meanwhile you can check out the more-info-button and use the chords of the bridge, that's the part you're looking for,
Hi there! Just check out the more info-buttom, for example when you play a Csus2 your left hand plays the C-bassnote, along with the Am you play an A, with the Em an E, with the G a G etc, so just play the corresponding bassnote....bút when you play a D/F#, you play a D-chord with your right hand and a F# with your left hand, A/C# an A-chord with your right hand and a C# bassnote etc. I hope this makes sense, otherwise ask me again!
Thank you so absolutely much. I can not wait to learn this song, I love singing this song too. I very much appreciate it and I know others will too because I have seen so many people leaving comments wanting a tutorial for this song. Thank you so much!!!!!!
