@Racoulda is you tilt the guitar up so the neck is more at a horizontal point, and move you elbow forward so that your hand goes over the fret bored you can get the 2-7 stretch. still hurts like a bitch though.

You should probably get something thicker than 10s for Bb standard... I use 11's for C# tuning and that's an entire step up from Bb. I'd go AT LEAST 11s if not 12s.
