Anyone know what the pixel depth is of the LEDs and what sort of material they're using to diffuse the light?

It looks to be a flat, plastic material or something since it looks like a smooth surface.

@lassetk 3w rgb led + controller is about 2€ and about 0.01m² big.. if ur room is about 14 m² it would be 3000€ + controlling and mounting für the ceiling...^^

@Spright0 Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking. Have this spanning out around a Pico projector screen (that way you still have something with detail to focus on & this in your peripheral vision) to expand the gaming experience to a new level. Shit would be AWESOME!

@Spright0 If you look at the leds you can see that each one is rather large, you could theoretically map each led to a pixel to the screen, but the resolution would be awful.
