My buddy owns a dive school in San Diego and is on his way to the DEMA show in Florida. He mentioned getting these for diving. So far all the videos I have seen do not impress me. The device looks way too underpowered. I travel faster and use less air with my Scubapro Jetfins, the old design not the useless split fins I have tried and did not like. I dont use an 80cf tank I use a 60 and with good breath control and excersize I dont need an 80. The Bladefish looks pretty useless for scuba.
@iggy58 I Agree iggy58. Way under powered and useless. I thought these to be an over price joke, and the more videos I see, I am pretty sure my first thoughts were correct.
@newt2010 Right on brother. I cant believe the amount of crap commercial dogs are foisting on divers. We were diving at La Jolla Shores and this guy was handing out cards and trying to be all chummy and then he went into his sales pitch about some other DPV that looked like a small microwave oven. We just smiled and bid him good day. Sheesh!
