  • Watching from 1:00 and mass clicking through 300 old RuneScape pictures until the song ends is orgasmic.

  • One... set off we go Two... set off we go Door, Floor, Dawn, day You can stop say It’s a light, I know We don't need it off in the light you go we all need it oh, in the light you go go, go, go!

  • LET THE WILD RUMPUSSS START!!! LETS FUCK CAROL IN THE NOSE!!!

  • My biggest fear of all is growing up. I've seen only like a handful of cool adults, but even they aren't childish. You can see that they have grown up. Growing up only closes doors in your life. I don't want to be one of those parents who sit in front of the computer while his kids are playing with toys. I want to be there playing with them. My goal in life is to never grow up

  • The one who disliked this will get eaten by the wild things. <3

  • DAMN! I WANT THIS SOUNDTRACK!

  • This is the best song ever. Where the Wild Things Are is the best movie ever. It is so good. Gonna get it on DVD to watch it countless times.

  • I've not seen the movie, but I know the story well, and the music itself is beautiful, and completely sums up what I imagine the film to be. Happy. I think if listening to music, can make you forget your demons, and just want to dance the bad things away, those two minutes forty six seconds, should be relived for as long as possible. This song makes me want to clear my house of crap and just live on this song. :)

  • @goldfishinaglass You should soo watch it!! I really wanted to watch it so i decided to watch it online, it was really good. I'm gonna buy it on DVD though cause I want to see it over and over again xD

  • wow. beautiful song!

    this movie was pure beauty

  • Judith was a buttmunch but the movie was so cuuuuute! It made me cry, and I've only ever cried in one movie...The Fox and the Hound. I watched My Sister's Keeper without blinking, but the second Max ran away or when Todd gets dropped off and the old lady starts crying, I bawl. =D

    LET THE WILD RUMPUS START!!!

  • @GirBananas LET THE WILD RUMPUS START!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @will50gor

    RAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!

  • is this really so unique? i think the world needs more of this... people need more hapinness, more childness, and lets recover our first monsters... adults have created stupid and unreal monsters such as strees or "give a good impression"... we need to go back in our lifes... love-hate-unknown-reality

  • this movie had a lot of ups and downs a lot mostly downs but it was still cool.

the movie never realy starts and doesnt end so its pretty much pointless but its still fuckin awsome.

  • i disagree entirely.

it's not pointless at all. and it very clearly has a start and an end. not sure what you're on about.

imo, this is an amazingly good film. but i guess not everyone would agree

  • luv it & im 12 I FEEL GREAT WEN I LIST TO DIS SONG

  • FINISH YOUR HOMEWORK.

  • BTW, is this part of the movie in an HQ clip anywhere on Youtube....

just the part where the song starts and they run and howl at the edge of the cliff.?

I thought that scene was so fun and charming :) I just loved it.

They felt so carefree and happy.

  • I love when the song crescendoes. The joy of the kids is literally infectious. :)

yeah i totally agree. i felt the EXACT SAME WAY after I left the theatre. I just wanted to go back in or wait for a different showtime. instead it was late and my friend went to see the ending of Cloud/Meatballs. im for sure buying this on blu ray!!!!

  • For some reason this song makes me want to jump around and play.

  • this is the song will go down as my anthem for life!

  • Well,

that's not really convince people that it's bad :/

Give a reason at least, Sheez.

Least people like is that like it Give a reason.

  • Don't you just want to run freely among the trees, not caring a bloody thing about this crooked world? It just happens that I dreamt of me running with the Wild Things despite my progressed age (18) and this music galvanised us 'til the extreme. We were like ready to run all day long for then sleep together in a real pile.

  • that pile was True Beauty :>

  • such a great movie

  • this is the first film that ever made me cried this is my favorite movie of all time this had the best soundtrack ever i hope it wins best picture at the oscers

  • @goolkik232 It won't. The good movies never do.

  • this scene was beautiful. anyone know the lyrics?

  • for a 15-page children's book, there's so much here literature-wise. the movie really helped bring out the parallels between max's dream-life and his real life. I asked my mom to find my old copy of the book to show my roomate, but she said it was so worn that she would have to get me a new copy. loved the book, love the movie. the music is so perfect

  • lyrics?

  • yeah mee too, very sad.

tell you what i'll take you to KFC for dinner!

  • i was cracking up when douglas lost its arm i didnt expect that in a kids movie.... and omg when alexander got hit

  • OMG ME TOO!

Then he had a stick replacement....So hilarious..........

  • Same lol, i just turned around and was sort of with a face of "WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPNED!!!!!!!!!!!!, isn't this supposed to be a kid's film????"

  • great song. I love this soundtrack.

  • this song makes me want to run through a bunch of trees!?

  • Good song, but I thought the video glorified fighting and mischief.

  • well, it was about being a kid.

  • Well, I'm pretty sure the story is about anger, and how children learn to deal with it and gain control over their emotions. It doesn't glorify the fighting, its showing how ridiculous it is.

  • Not just how children handle it, how adults handle it as well. How even adults seem to break down at the feeling of loss, and have to resort to shouting to solve their problems. But yeah, dead on with the satire of fighting.

  • well i also feel it has all his emotions...not being noticed, lonelyness, neglect and anger, and judith symbolized pessimism, this clearly wasnt a movie that i believe children could comprehend but i think the movie was beautiful if sad at times (: and you sure do have a good opinion that fighting is ridiculous (:

  • I would like to think most children comprehend such things mildly on a subconscious level. But adults trying to teach children to analyze literature at an earlier age would be really welcome so perhaps in the future they actually would be able to cognitively understand such things.

  • @WALKINGonaSPIRAL

I don't think that would be very much help. There is a certain age, according to Piaget, that children reach a stage in which they can think about things abstractly. I believe it's called "Formal Operational" stage and it happens at around adolescence. Children's cognitive development is almost (if not completely) independent of what parents (or adults) do to their kids. The bottom line:

You just gotta let kids be kids. They'll come around sooner or later.

  • Never hurts to try and see if exceptions to the rule are possible.

And it's not like trying would provide harm, when they reach that stage perhaps things you already explained would then start making sense. Trying to expand minds, even if it ends up being futile, is not a wasted attempt in my opinion.

Also I am talking around the age of 10 year olds, I dunno when Piaget labels that stage, but in my honest opinion I do not think 10 year olds lack abstract thought.

  • amo la conzone!! film molto emotiva! :) e grande

  • this was such an amazing movie. i dont even think it's for little kids. i mean, they can watch it but i don't think anyone under nine could grasp the meaning behind this movie.

i cried so hard at the end when they strted howling!!! ... =)

  • Just trying to do everyone a favor, the only place i could watch this at was theonlinecinema. net/where-the-wild-things-are. I spent close to 2 hours trying to find the 2009 version and that was the only site i could find with it, good luck :)

  • I bawled when they started howling

  • Same,

    I'm considered a pussy now?

  • The movie was cool, characters were cool, music was cool... but it was WAY too sad and depressing. The trailers made it seem like a happy movie, but it wasen't.

  • omg! i was like looking for this song!so amazing ! just love it! and the movie!

  • aaah that seen at the end where he was leaving on the boat and everyone was saying goodbye, it allways gets you.....

  • was a very emotional movie, was awesome! just didn't expect it to be a fantasy-drama mix movie lol, there is parts that make you sad, but the message was much more intense than in the book, but one thing I mostly lovd, were the songs! :)

  • im not even a sensitive person and im like o wow this is wow i dont even know

  • So sad. The entire movie had little parts that I almost cried at:(

  • this song is amazing! this movie is sweet too i cried at the end

  • This song reminds me of the time I used to run around on the monkey bars...good times, and some bad scars (I still have one on my knee) XD

  • Haha, I loved this movie.

But I have a question: Does anyone know the name of the song or track that plays when max runs away and then sails to the island? And I'm not talking about "sailing home." If anyone knows, please tell me.

  • does any one know the lyrics? :]

  • Let the wild rumpus start. ^^

  • CHILLS!!!! love this song...and the movie...theres something about it...its like i've been waiting for it my whole life...and its finally here...its perfect.

  • yeah my gf made fun of me all day for crying at the end. james gandolfini was too good as carol

  • I can't help but smile when I hear Max yell "LET THE WILD RUMPUS START!"

  • The movie had such a sad and longing feel to it yet such a beautiful one as well. I saw each wild thing had a trait either Max or his family had- like KW was similar to Max's sister (well, I think KW turned out to be what Max wanted his sister to be like!).

  • WIKIPEDIA LOL

  • Im kinda young 12 and i cant wait to see this it seems like a beautiful movie

  • I'm fifteen.

    My name is Max.

I have a video of me reading this book when I was two. It's my third favourite book of all time and the movie is my absolute favourite movie I've ever seen.
