I think labeling yourself as "gay, straight, bi" is sort of painting yourself into a corner. Just love who want whether it's the same, opposite, or both genders. Society does want to put you in a box, but individuals ultimately have control over their lives.

If you would have asked me about this when I was younger, I would have fought with you to the death about it. When I was just coming out, I was having such a hard time getting used to the fact that I was different, I wanted to have someone to ridicule. But, I've been out now for 12 years, I have seen so many things, and I've actually started living in the real world. I'm certain bisexuality exists, though I, myself, don't live in that part of the spectrum. Love is love. And that's what matters.

I don't often tell people that I am bisexual, but one reason for this is that I get really tired of people responding by assuming that I don't really love my wife, or that I must be cheating on her with men (which is totally NOT the case!) I really don't get that attitude of "you must really be one or the other" or for that matter, pretty much most other stereotypes of bisexuals either.

I, personally, don't think sexuality is black and white. It's not as simple as "I'm straight" or "I'm gay." There are levels and variations and circumstances that occur that wouldn't be considered to be one of those terms. Nobody is at either extreme end (as nobody is 100% straight or 100% gay) and bisexuals are more in the middle but can lean more towards one gender than the other. I personally think that the spread on the scale is quite even but that's my estimate. But yeah, a lot of bi people don't admit it. It's easier that way.

@vikvik16 I have noticed that too, gets on my nerves. I think its because bisexuality is more accepted in women by society for some reason. There seems to be a much longer history of bisexual women being acceptable (or at least tolerated)- Boston Wives for example, by our society then gay or bi men.
@vikvik16 That's not -always- the case. I came out as bi to my mom in 2007, and yes, I know, she's my mom, she's going to see me differently than she sees everyone else, BUT! When I came out and said that I was bisexual, BIsexual...she acted and spoke in response as if I had come out as a homosexual.

I really hate it when gay/lesbian people say that bisexuality doesn't exist. We're all being put in the same category because we like the same sex. It's because gay people discredit bisexuality by first coming out as bisexual. Not all but many do first keep their foot in the door so to speak by saying they are bi.

I'be heard a lot of gay coming out stories and I know some people who claim they are gay who have been in straight relationships and then discovered that it wasn't who they were so that's why some say you're either gay or straight. Not all gay people believe this though.

I think bisexuality is ridiculous. Bisexuality is an easy way for gays to come out cause it's easier to say "I'm Bisexual" rather than say "I'm Gay." I think it's possible for someone to like boys and girls, but I think people that like boys and girls are just comfortable and will except love from whatever comes there way, which i think is respectable. I hate the term "Bisexual", because it has now become a trend for kids to gain attention, which I think is absolutely ridiculous.

If you would have asked me about this when I was younger, I would have fought with you to the death about it. When I was just coming out, I was having such a hard time getting used to the fact that I was different, I wanted to have someone to ridicule. But, I've been out now for 12 years, I have seen so many things, and I've actually started living in the real world. I'm certain bisexuality exists, though I, myself, don't live in that part of the spectrum. Love is love. And that's what matters.

There are levels and variations and circumstances that occur that wouldn't be considered to be one of those terms. Nobody is at either extreme end (as nobody is 100% straight or 100% gay) and bisexuals are more in the middle but can lean more towards one gender than the other. I personally think that the spread on the scale is quite even but that's my estimate. But yeah, a lot of bi people don't admit it. It's easier that way.

I'be heard a lot of gay coming out stories and I know some people who claim they are gay who have been in straight relationships and then discovered that it wasn't who they were so that's why some say you're either gay or straight. Not all gay people believe this though.

I just recently started having the feeling that I'm bisexual... I'm more attracted to guys, but I think I could love and be attracted to a girl as well.
I think people should do what makes them happy, within reasonable limits.

I think bisexuality is ridiculous. Bisexuality is an easy way for gays to come out cause it's easier to say "I'm Bisexual" rather than say "I'm Gay." I think it's possible for someone to like boys and girls, but I think people that like boys and girls are just comfortable and will except love from whatever comes there way, which i think is respectable. I hate the term "Bisexual", because it has now become a trend for kids to gain attention, which I think is absolutely ridiculous.
