I played piano by ear. Kinda funny I can't read music and I was in jazz band for piano and French horn and I just had to blend in with the band. I wish I could play this. Maybe do a step by step of it but slower?

So in all reality it doesn't matter who signed him or what his genre is he is point blank a Christian artist.

Very nice. However, in the sections where the lyrics are "right there beside me," "I have been made new," and "I desperately need you," they all end with a D minor chord rather than the F major you are playing. That's called a deceptive cadence in music theory terms. Give it a try, you'll see what I mean.
