CORSAIR DOMINATOR DDR3 12GB

I have picked up two sets of Corsair ram with at least one bad chip in each. One of my original 2 GB chips from my original 8gb kit is jacked, and one of the the 4mb chips from the 16gb set was toast. Last time with the Corsair for me.

Your OCZ probably wasn't on your motherboards qualified ram vender list. If they were and they're still causing your system to crash then you were either pushing them too hard, or if your not overclocking then thats pretty much a sure sign that they are defective. Try to send them back before its too late.

hey, if u use an i7 rig watch out for the voltage ! These Dominators already have the highest voltaged that Intel considers as safe.So don't give them too much "food" or u can say byebye to your i7 cpu.

yes u can run 2 295s in sli and and a third in a phix mode it is point less mind u but u can u dont need to run a phix card with even 1 295 fuck i have 1 295 and i dont think 2 would make any diff really cause im already getting max fps in cod 4 cod 5 waw and all my other games 2 is just a wast and using 1 for phix is just dumb ass hell what a wast of money and a good gpu

With a 295 you might want to play Crysis. Look it up if you haven't heard of it. Games like Call of Duty are made cheap and the developers only want your money. They barely made the game look different from its console versions...

Had my OCZ DDR2 for about 3 years now, no problems on a fully overclocked system (Q6600 @ 3.0ghz)

However, Monday will be the sad, sad day I throw it out due to the fact I have just ordered my new parts, and seeing as I'm switching up to an i7 platform I ordered 12 gigs of Corsair XMS3.

So goodbye OCZ RAM, you have served me well. Don't listen to people who say OCZ sucks, because its a laster.

I believe you can run it in 3 mode by selecting 3 sli compatibility therfore using two gpus on one of the cards and only one on the other. However you can not run three gtx295 cards as that would be septa sli which does not exist!

Just keep in mind when ur overclocking it to 2000MHz that a higher frequency means nothing without low latencies as well. depending on ur timings it might even be slower than DDR2 with the higher frequency.

I mean those with 3 moduls, with 1 gb each, making it 3 gb of ram. They are 1600 mhz on 1 modul. 1gb(one modul) is 1600mhz. But what about the ones with 1 modul with 2 gb, says 1600mhz? so that means it is 800mhz on each 1gb?

oo i understand what you mean the size of the chip as storage 1GB 2GB 4GB does not matter the speed is 1600mhz! its a separate thing if you know what i mean so the 1GB and 2GB run @ 1600mhz the 2GB is not 2x1GB chip running at 800mhz its a bigger chip of 2GB running @ 1600! hope that claryfies it! =)

I had to return my G.skill 6GB 1600mhz kit within a week of having it a stick died and the other two sticks were BSODing too and I noticed some other strange events on the event viewer so I took it back to the place I bought it and he replaced it on the spot and now no issues :D.

Only thing that pisses me off is that today being his end off year sale is that the 1600mhz 6gb G.skill kit is $200 AUD cheaper so I got burnt by buying early :(.
