Some people think Miley sounds nasally, but they seem to forget she is from the south and has that southern twang where Taylor who is a transplant to the Nashville area does not have that. As to Taylor standing up to the judges of AI it is a moot point since she has been in the recording industry longer then the AI show has been around. She submitted her first demo at 11 and was writing songs recorded by other artists at 13. Both young ladies can sing and they did a wonderful job on this song.
