(part 3) At the end there a Dragoncon staffer let me know that playing between a pay phone and an exit was only making me MORE of a fire hazard than I had already been deamed to be... so let's just say we found another spot for the rest of the show. My thanks to everyone who came... and my apologies to anyone who got caught up in the Pirate Party debacle. At the end of the day, the missundertanding was mine so I take the blame.

Yes, I would have played it at the Pirate party but a missunderstanding (namely that I didn't know you HAD to be wearing pirate gear to get in and invited MANY people in plain clothes to come see me .. who then couldn't get in...etc etc...) kept me from playing it there. So, I just found a corner of the hotel to play for whoever felt like hearing it.

Actually I wrote this song for my son's Halloween fair at school a couple of years ago but didn't make it to that show because my son was ill. Since then I have played it a few times live.

No, he wrote the song over a year prior. It's supposed to be a collab song with the Brobdingnagian Bards, but Marc hasn't gotten the music worked out on their end yet. :D

This was recorded at about 1:30am Sunday night, in a random corner of the Hyatt (by the stairs on the level right under the lobby), after he refused to play at the pirate party. There's a whole long story behind it, but damn was I lucky!
