I saw this film when I was 8 years old. It was the fourth movie I'd seen and I didn't have a TV. I had no filter and it gave me nightmares for years. If you have to scare people into your faith - it isn't working. This film is why I don't belong to a church.

Okay, what's this girl so worried about? Decapitation isn't exactly a long and torturous death, and she clearly believes in Yahweh, to the point of dying for him. This is a total distortion of the scripture. The 666 is the Hebrew spelling for Emperor Nero. The part in Revelation about buy or sell refers to how business could only be conducted with Roman coins, which bore the likeness of the Emperor, whom citizens were required to worship. Many Jews refused to do this, as it violated the commandments about acknowledging another deity as well as idolatry. Revelation has NOTHING to do with current events and to make it seem that way is dangerous.

My heart is racing after seeing this again. Was forced to watch this as a young sheltered child. They made watching these movies a yearly "event". This is worse than a horror film because they are telling you that it will be real. I spent many nights repeating the sinner's prayer over and over and over and over...Recently diagnosed with PTSD (I'm serious) because of these movies and the way I was raised. These movies are NOT the way to share the faith with children.

same here, was forced to watch these films by my fundamentalist converted father when I was 9 or 10 and they messed me up for a long time; it distorts your views of the world big time too.
I truly believe teaching kids about hell, demons and the revelation is psychological child abuse, causing all sorts of neurosis's and anxiety; seeing things like "Jesus Camp" where they scare the heck out of these little kids it makes me so furious, they're going to suffer the same sorts of fears

These movies used to scare the ever living crap out of me when I was a kid. I only wish I knew back then how unbiblical they are. However, from a movie critic stand point, I thought they did an excellent job on these movies, regardless of one's beliefs.

This is a total distortion of the scripture. The 666 is the Hebrew spelling for Emperor Nero. The part in Revelation about buy or sell refers to how business could only be conducted with Roman coins, which bore the likeness of the Emperor, whom citizens were required to worship. Many Jews refused to do this, as it violated the commandments about acknowledging another deity as well as idolatry. Revelation has NOTHING to do with current events and to make it seem that way is dangerous.

@2hottric St John the Evangelist wrote about the Beast,not the Anti Christ. Now in Hebrew, the numbering system is based on the letters of their Alphabet. When the letters for 666 are read as a word it reads Nero Caesar. It is a code word for the Emperor of Rome. When John wrote the Book of Revelation,he was under the impression that the Second Coming would be coming shortly, so what he wrote about was the Roman Empire, not the RCC or the events of the 20th/21st centuries

She was crying because she not not yet made a decision to follow Christ. When she was asked if she wanted to take the mark, she made no reply. So, they assumed that she was refusing it and therefore layed her down to be beheaded.
