Hey i decided to get 3 of them! How many watt mono amp should i get if i want to push them to their almost full potential? What gauge wire should i run?
@stuntriderboy Nice man! Ohh well get an amp that does about 850 rms or so at 1 ohm and i think you'll be happy with that. I wouldn't push em more than 300 rms per sub though. Well, If you get like a 1000 watt amp or so 4 awg would be the best but if you could get 5 or 6 awg that would work nicely. But i wouldn't use 8 awg though if you're gonna wanna push out that much power. Get a good amp too
@stuntriderboy if its an amp that will do a legit 2.5k watts then thats way too much power for them. THey are rated at 400 rms but i wouldn't run 400 rms to each sub. But, thats just me. But, to do that much power you're gonna need a good alternator and a few extra batteries. But, if you want 0 awg and and the amp will take it no matter what the size is then get that. Bigger wire is good no matter how big the amp is.
@AlexSkates18 You talking about the person who wants to get a 2.5k amp....well thats def too big for these subs. Would def not do over 1200 rms on three of these subs. More like 850 rms for three of them .

Dang, i wish i could have got mine for 30 bucks. I paid 56 for mine. But best buy sells em for 119 so i still am happy with what i paid a lil over 3 months ago.
ok, 57 dollars converted to rands is about 600 rand. thats not bad for a sub. the sub i have now is a pioneer, i think they also make good subs, right?
@one0six1 Where are you from? I've never heard of that currency. Well, pioneer isnt too bad at all. I've never owned any pioneer sub. But, i know their 1000 rms rated sub are pretty dang good. I forgot what they are called though. But, you said yours is half of mine, so 200 rms.

@techmaster170 they did and i got mine for 60 cause i already had a box. only song it cant handle is yankin by e-40 but the tone on that song is just crazy
its not going to do anything you should have gotten better sub but shit what do i know any ways runnin soundstream t5-10 at 2500watts now that shit bangs it s for the future lookin to get 2 re xxx 15

So, i could then have to buy a amp that could actually power it so i could put it in my dorm room. Yes, that makes lots of sense. There is this thing called college that is coming first. I know there are plenty of better subwoofers out their. Some day when I can afford something nice, i'll get it.

Part of it was from the box being sucky. I fixed most of the box problems. I think its my headunit or could a bad ground cause it to sound bad as well?
