so cripy.. people really love her pivots and pivots..Whenever she turns many times at once, people really love them..but ..You know what? Bessonova havs to turn over 6 times to be th same Kanaeva's only "one" pivot!

Everybody always has blamed Kabaeva for staying in RG for too long time in spite she had lost her physical form. But isn't Bessonova repeats Alina's mistake? Look at this routine - there is absolutely nothing special. She can't work with her body anymore. Anna only works with the ribbon: she only throws it and catches it all the time. The emphasis is done on the music, not on the elements.
I think Bessonova has a lot to offer, how ever this piece is very hard to dance and perform to. I think she may have chosen the wrong piece to work with or she might not be quite comfortable with this type of song.
It's a brand new routine, give her some time to get used to it. No one are completely comfortable with a new routine in the first competition. It always needs more practice... :)
...But throw, throw and throw the ribbon is what the new CoP force them to do. Three risks per routine and mastery in every element - and repeat the same mastery over and over just makes your Artistic score get lower; They HAVE TO throw the ribbon to connect an element with the apparatus. what do you want? She can't do what you want. She has to act according to the code... And she is so expressive in this routine...
this music is really better than the padam padam it has drama in it which she expresses very very good but do you know that it is also the bulgarian team's music....
Well I think it is incorrectly to compare Kanaeva and Bessonova's music. As both gymnasts have absolutely different styles: Kanaeva is romantic and air girl, wheareas Anya is elegant and extremely selfconfident woman. So Evgenia always has lyric melodies, but Anya - heroic melodies. They choose melodies which suit to their characters not ot their fans.
of course each gymnast has its own style yet the fact that they showcase their talents and personality in the routine you also have to consider the impact the music has to the audience. after all they perform not only to get the medal but also to entertain the audience.
very repetitive, as usuall, and at this point the wont improve her rutines in difficulty but i really lov the music, i love her leotard!!!! and she is showing an AMAZING techinique with no mistakes.....good for her
Although she had made mistake, I still think that it is a promising performance for Anya as this is after all a new ribbon routine. She still needs some time to get used to the new exercise. Keep it up, Anya.
I'd say that is really a difficult ribbon.. so many tosses.. you know.. the probability to do a mistake is really higher compared to the flex pivots of all the russian..
As always, she is great! but her routine is a little bit boring because of similar pivots since 2001..I want Anna to practice higher difficult pivots...

that is because RG is in her veins, she performs because she loves to and i can tell she is the only one that really enjoys every spilt, leap and catch. it is all about doing well something you are good for.
